*~*~*Later that night~*~*~
Nicole looked at herself in the mirror, she was finishing up getting ready to go out with Nick and she wanted to look nice. She had no idea where Nick was going to take her, but she knew that he would make it special. Ever since Nick had joined the BackStreet Boys, he had become a little more creative with his surprises, not because he could afford more, but because he was exposed to a more creative life-style.
Nicole took one last look at herself in the mirror when she heard the doorbell, she knew that it was Nick. She walked down the stairs and headed over to the door. Then she opened it and saw Nick standing there smiling like he always did when he came to pick her up.
"Hey, beautiful," Nick said.
"Hi there Nicky."
"You ready to go?"
"Yeah," she said smiling as she walked out of the door, "So Carter, what do you have planned for me tonight?"
"Well, I was thinking that we could go back to where we had our first date. I thought that would be nice," Nick said looking at her for approval.
"That would be nice Nick."
"Great," he said smiling again. After a short walk, Nick and Nicole had reached the beach that in their minds was the place they fell in love. There was an instant attraction to one another that night and it never seemed to die down. They fell more in love with each other with each passing day.
"Nick, I'm a little chilly, maybe we should head back," Nicole said. They had already been there for hours, though it didn't feel like it.
"Ok, if you want to," Nick said putting his arm around Nicole.
"Yeah." Nick walked Nicole home like he always did, but for some reason tonight felt different.
"Well, happy birthday baby," Nick said when they reached her house.
"Thank you," she said and smiled.
"Sure," he said and kissed her. The kiss was long and passionate and filled with so much of the love that the two shared for one another.
"Do you want to come inside?" Nicole asked. Nick was there all most all the time when Nicole was home, but tonight was different, there was a different feeling in the air and they both felt it and decided to act on it.
"Yeah, sure," Nicole smiled and let Nick inside.
"Lets go upstairs," she said.
"Ok," he said follwing her lead. Nick followed Nicole into her room and watched as she dropped down on the bed.
"Wanna join me?" she asked, fully aware of the fact that she knew that he wanted to more than anything.
"You bet," Nick said sitting next to her and began kissing her. As soon as they knew it, one thing had led to another and they were making love right in Nicoles room.

Nicole awoke to find Nicks arms still holding her like they had when they had fallen asleep. She smiled knowing that this was how she wanted to spend the rest of her mornings for the rest of her life. She felt safe when Nick held her, she couldn't explain why, it wasn't like she didn't feel safe when he wasn't holding her, it was kind of an empty feeling.
Nicole tried to escape Nicks grasp without waking him, but her attempts were unsecessful. He had awoken when he saw that she was trying to get away.
"I'm not going to let you go that easy."
"Nick, I live here, where else would I go?"
"True."
"Don't you think you should get home?"
"Why? What time is it?"
"Its morning."
"Oh crap," he said getting out of the bed and grabbed his clothes.
"I take it your late," she joked.
"Oh just a little," he said getting dressed.
"What are you going to tell your mother?"
"I don't know, but I'll come up with something," he said and kissed her on the cheek, "gotta go."
"See you."
"Hopefully," he said and ran out of the door.

Nicole sighed, she hadn't heard from Nick, she figured his mother killed him for coming in late. Well maybe not killed him, but wanted to. That wasn't the first time that Nick had done that, he had spent the night at Nicoles the way that he had last night a few times.
Just as Nicole thought that she wasn't going to hear from Nick, there was a knock at the door. That man is always getting himself in and out of trouble Nicole thought as she walked over to the door. Just as she suspected, it was Nick.
"Hey babe," Nick said smiling.
"The warden felt nice today?"
"No, I'm just out on parol."
"Funny," Nicole said, "so what did you tell her?"
"I told her that I fell asleep."
"Didn't she ask what you were doing?" she asked as Nick walked in to the house.
"Of course she did. I told her we were watching a movie and we both fell asleep."
"How original."
"Hey, theres not much my mother will believe. I couldn't tell her that we were in your room, in bed, she would freak the second I said bed. Besides I was with you and she trusts you. I don't know why, you're just as bad as I am."
"No, I'm better, I never get caught. Unlike you, who gets caught like everytime."
"Not, every time."
"Of course not, you just planned it that way right?"
"You know it," Nicole smiled and shook her head at him, "so I was going to go hang with AJ, you wanna come?"
"Why the hell not, I have nothing better to do anyway."
"Cool, lets go."

"Hey!" AJ said as Nick showed up with Nicole.
"Yo," Nicole said in a ghetto annoying kind of way. Nick shook his head and laughed at her. He thought she was nuts.
"Shes getting to be just like you," AJ said.
"Gee where have I heard that before?"
"I dunno, where?"
"Oh very funny."
"So what do you want to do?"
"I have no damn clue, I'm just bored and tired."
"Oh yeah, it was Nicoles birthday yesterday!" AJ said.
"We've got a live one!!" Nicole said.
"Shut up, I was trying to be nice! Well happy birthday anyway."
"Now I feel special. But....."
"Hey!" Nick said, knowing Nicole was about to say something that AJ was going to make her regret.
"Hey yourself! I'm gonna go home, I'm too bored to stay here."
"Don't go!" Nick said.
"I'm tired, I just want to go home and sit on my ass."
"Ok, I'll see you," Nick said, they had walked over to AJs so Nick didn't feel too bad about letting her go back to her house alone, besides, she sounded like she wanted to be alone.
"What happened last night?" AJ asked.
"What do you mean what happened?"
"Did you... you know," he said looking at Nick.
"Yeah, but you act like it was our first time."
"You mean it wasn't?" AJ pretended to be surprised.
"No.. and I almost go caught this time."
"How did you almost get caught?"
"I ended up staying the whole night."
"So......"
"So, I still live with my mother, she asks questions you know."
"What did you tell her?"
"That I fell asleep watching a movie."
"She believed you?"
"I'm here aren't I?"
"Yeah, but seriously, watch with her. Nicole I mean. Don't be getting her pregnant or anything cause then you'll have a lot of explaining to do."
"Don't worry, I won't geez, so whats up? What are we gonna do?" Nick asked changing the subject.
