I found an interesting article on the internet about Breeding by the Phases of the Moon by Spring Valley Rabbitry. I believe in it pretty much, and I am not a supersticious person in the least! I have to see it to believe it.
(I was a very boring kid around Christmas ;-P )

I am going into a semi-partnership with my good friend Kristin Hamilton, who is the owner of the stunning Miro Ranch/Reese's Pez. He is coming to stay with us for a month or so and will working on lots of does for us! As soon as he comes home with me (Sunday, March 20) I will post some pictures (though Kristin says he is very spoiled, and is very much a buck, so he may not want to pose!!).

We are now breeding for, and raising up, Netherland juniors for the 2004 ANDRC Dwarf Nationals hosted by California Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Club in Plymouth California, two hours from our house!! YAY!!

~ These little kids are soo cute! And at this time they are looking really nice, type and color wise. Looking forward to seeing how these guys do!

(I think both Smokes are does, and one of the . Himi/REWs too.
~ Really excited about this litter. The ONLY way this litter could get any better is if both Smoke Pearls do end up being does, and if one, or both, are dwarfs that I can show next fall. I won't mention that I hope that one of the Himi/REWs ends up as a REW! But we'll see, I'm just glad for a live litter (finally!!)

~ Cute little kit, looks like a buck, very small, but not a peanut!!! Yay! (It had a smaller peanut littermate that died shortly after birth, so I could tell.) It looks like a buck. So I finally have a nice little selection going to show next summer/fall! (I was getting worried for a moment!)
