Camper Information
Dance night is an activity that is usually held on the last night of camp. Many of the campers like to dress up and "strut their stuff" on the dance floor. This time is used as a way to encourage the campers to become more socially involved with their peers.

This year, the campers learned how to perform the Electric Slide and then had the opportunity to dance to many types of music genres.  By the end of the night, campers, and counselors alike, were up on the dance floor dancing the night away!
Talent night gives the campers the opportunity to showcase their talents. Campers are allowed to showcase any talent they choose, however, it seems as if the #1 pick every year is musically inclined.

This year, many campers decided to sing. One camper paid a tribute to Garth Brooks, another to Evanesence, others choose a church song, while one young lady showcased her lyrical talent, singing an original song of her own while playing guitar. Another young man played the piano, one camper showed off her tumbling skills, one young man showed off his break dancing skills and a group of girls showcased their talent in doing the "Cha Cha Slide."  A  group of four girls even performed a cheer dedicated to Randy Foederer. This event was a huge success and by the end of the night, counselors were so excited and emotional that there was not a dry eye in the room.
For the Scavenger Hunt, campers were divided into 5 teams consisting of 4-5 campers per team and 2 counselors per tea. Each team received clue #1 at the same place and then had to guess their next destination to receive their next clue. Camp counselors were only allowed to read the clue, if all students in their group were totally blind. Counselors were not allowed to partake in guessing the next destination. They were only their to watch over the students and guide them in the right direction after they figured out their destination.

Once the team reached their destination, they were given a challenge for a chance to gain 5 bonus points. Along the way, each group was allowed to pick up 10 additional bonus points by finding bonus items while walking throughout campus. These items included: School Newspaper, Fall 2005 Course Schedule, a flyer advertising used books for sale, or a flyer, pamphlet or brochure advertising any club or organization on campus.

Each team completed the scavenger hunt within an hour and fifteen minutes. Each member of the team was allowed to pick a prize in the order that the teams arrived. Student claimed to have lots of fun.
