Children Come unto Me!

Jesus opened up His arms, saying, let the children come, But when was the last time, you sat with Christ, the Son? Have you crawled up on His lap, in the last day or two? If it's been quite awhile, then He's surely missing you.

For there will be an empty spot, a longing in His heart, A place that has your name, for you have been set apart, He has called you to Himself, as a Father to his child, Saying,  Please won't  you come, and sit with Me awhile.

I'm ever watching you and waiting, just hoping for the day, To hold you gently in my arms, where we can laugh and play, I will teach you many stories, in ways you've never heard. As we talk about the mysteries, that are written in My Word.

I will listen to your heartfelt prayers, as if they were my own, So you will never have to be afraid, to face this world alone. And when your life seems difficult, just know that I am here. To comfort you in sorrow, and wipe away your every tear...

Oh I long to be with you, for you are My cherished treasure, And nothing else on earth, could bring Me so much pleasure, Child, I am waiting for you always, to come and be with me, Just to spend our days together, with you sitting on my knee..

We'll sing praises to our Father, in joyful hymns and song, Like the worship of the angels, filled with glory all day long! We will have such fun together, from morning, noon 'til night, And you do not need to fear the dark, for I will be your Light.
