Each family is provided with a rustic cabin that sleeps up to 12 people in bunk beds that are easily rearranged. You supply your bedding and may wish to bring a flashlight and an extra lamp or heater. Ample space is available to bring a trailer or RV. There are common washrooms with hot and cold running water; showers are available at the swimming pool. |
Where will we sleep? |
Within the large main hall, each family is assigned to an area which includes 2 tables and a refrigerator. A large, common cooking area provides ample space for all to prepare meals at once; there are large sinks with hot and cold running water and extra freezer space is available. This common facility is a focal point in building Cana Community. There are pots, pans, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, etc... available for you to borrow from the kitchen. Email us if you have questions about what is available. You are responsible to bring your own food supplies. There is also opportunity to invite staff members to share a meal with your family. |
Where will we eat? |
There is no specific fee for Cana as it is not a profit making activity but an experience to be shared with as many families as possible; families are asked to leave a donation according to their means. Income tax receipts will be issued. If you are interested in knowing how much it costs to keep a family at Cana for one week, please email us and ask us. |
