Morten Harket was invited to the "Livsvernpris" this year, this event was presented by the norwegian organization "Menneskeverd". This year the award goes to the hospital nurse Marie Aakre for her special care for dying cancer patients.

The
"Menneskeverd" Institution create this award to given to persons, institutions, organizations
that have provided a positive contribution to the protection human life value and created hope and courage among people in the fragile phases of the begining or the end of life.

Morten Harket was among the audience, together with his father Reidar Harket, but he wasn´t quite sure if he was a member of
"Menneskeverd Asociation".
-"I don´t remenber, but I don´t see any reason, not to be, actually, yes, I think I´am a member,
said Harket.- who is presented as a member on the organization´s promotional brochure.
He admits that he didn´ know about Marie Aakre before, she was awarded with the
"Livsvernpris".
-"This is a very important cause & I can see the importance of people doing what
Marie Aakre does. The public health care often doesn´t do enough, unfortunately"- said Harket (who said that he is been breastfed with the idea of human life value).

"When people have done a job for our society through their whole life, it´s obvious that we also take care of each individual when their life powers are fading. And there´s  also the human value: One is entitled to care, whether one has made a contribution to society or not", Morten made clear.  (Thank You to
Jakob Seske for the information).
Savoy appears in the anual prize "Spellemann 2004" and said to the newspaper Dagbladet that they will make a big concert in the norwegian festival "OYA" in Oslo in August.

If you want to listen some samples in MP3 or two new versions that Morten Harket would be include in his new solo record go to www.a-ha.sk and give a click in the samples "A Place I Know" & "Sound of Rain". (enjoy it)
¡Great News! On june 4th A-ha wil be on stage at the very center of Bergen more specially on a huge flotating stage on the water next to Bergen´s Fish Market.
This is, at the moment the only one concert planned for this year.
Tickets will be able on february 14th at 8:00 AM

4,000 thousand tickets were sold out just in a few hours, especially with so many fans abroad
Thousands of fans will be able to experience to experience their favourite band playing on home ground. A-ha has only performed a few shows in Norway the last couple of years, their last performance was last year in Trondheim were they filled up all the venue twice. A few months earlier 25,000 thousands fans came to see their magnifecent concert at the Ullevaal Stadium
(We were there and we interviewed Pal Waaktaar exclusive for this site and a newspaper),
The profit from the tickets sales will be spent in orden to make a everyday life better for HIV -
infected childrens in Romania. The number of childrens infected in that western european country is not quantified, We do know that
HIV-infected and AIDS stricken infants and children
up to the age of 5 are stowed away and left alone to die. In a house with no heating 4 or 5 children are placed in each bed, and these children hardly receive any type of physical contact
All of this combined with the worst illness imaginable lead innocent children into a painful death.
The means left from this concert with a-ha will give 500 innocent stick children the oppotunity to
end their lifes in a dignified manner. We will be able to educate nurses and send necessary
equipment to limit the spread of
AIDS and continue wiyh preventive work. At best we can even
help biulding a nursing home for this children, says
Tor Fredrik Müller of Lions Club Fana.

Playing to capacity crowds, Magne, Nils Petter, and Raymond C Pellider (DJ Dark Norse) created magic in two shows in spectacular surrondings in Lillehammer, the two concerts were held out-doors at freezing -10 degrees with a frozen waterfall as a stage, the audience was met with a incredible ice sculpture and magnificent lighting surronded by the absolutle darkness of a cold winters ninght. Nils Petter and Magne opened up with a lyrical piece in piano and solo trumpet through the woods and indeed through the audience came a group of secretives "sdentist" carrying chains saws, all dressed in white garb the music shifed to a powerful industrial groove acommpaigned by incredible surrond sounds of chains cleverly used both rythmically and harmony.
This shift really charaterized the concert tender songs by Magne & Nils Petter together.
