he is six feet two inches tall, and he is A-haīs resident prankster. Is a free weling fella who doesnīt have to much patience for intolerance, he also is the quick thinker who co- founded A-HA with his very best friend Pal.
The two were in the same bands as kids: Spider Empire, Black Day and
Bridges.
Friends called him Mags, Maggie or Magsaroonie on diferent days.
His father Kare Furuholmen, died when he was only five years and he is convinced he gets a lot of his talent. Mags also says that his grand father
and his grand mother had given his career a lot of support.
Her Mom Annelise: (Who wrote a book about the journey of the guys to the fame) was an information secretary (she remarried after her husband died.
but is now divorced) Mags has one sister named Line and two half brothers Thortein and Trygve. When he was a teenager the family had three cats a goldfish a mouse and a tarantula.
Apart from music Mags is also very interested in drawings and paintings
he has done some abstract pictures and his first exhibition was in october
1989 in Stanvanger, Norway; He showed since the first time that he has a promising career as an artist.
Like Morten, Mags is also interested in theology and says he is become a
christian, Magne refused to do military service wich is usually compulsory
in Norway and became a conscientious objector.
In his earliest years Mags also worked in art centers, mental hospitals
and of course in rock bands.
Mags is an ecological activist in the last years heīs been working in this important fact.
Mags had been producing music from Movies and TV series in 1997,
he won a prize in Bergenīs Festival, he is still working in TIMBERSOUND
and A-ha & in 2004, He has his first record alone call Past Present Future Tense.
Mags married on agust 8th, 1992 with her eternal love Heidi Rydjord,
they live in Oslo and have two kids: Thomas Vincent (april 20th,1990)
and Filip August (october, 1993)
