He is six feet tall and he has one sister Tonje, who is married with
Jan Terje Helmli, Palīs father was a medical researcher and his mother
works for a telephone company.
When he was a child, Pal composed his own tunes, he used to sit on his own for hours drawing (actually he paint too like Mags but he just do it for relaxing), Pal also used to write poems and set them to his own music.
As a teenager, Pal grew his hair long and wore flares, Pal was called Pops and Popeye by his classmates and develope a fine and lasting
frienship with Magne Furuholmen.
Pal is really a sentimental sort of fellow. Thought he is still in touch with one of his former norwegian teacher a lady on whom he had an incredible
crush a long time ago.
Pal was in a band called Black Day, The Spider Empire and Bridges with
Mags. One of Palīs earliest jobs was putting pills in boxes. He also
worked at camp site as a facility maintenance worker and in England he used to sell the tickets in the underground, he admits he got fired a lot
of fooling around.
Pal loves reading and any ideas he gets from books are written down in
his famouse notebook, today however he is a very responsible song writter behind A-HA and Savoy, he quietly goes about his bussines
while the two other members of A-ha do most of the talking.
His fave food are Bagels with goat cheese. Pal said that he was never
kissed by a girl until he was 18, but now he recived lots of kisses from
Lauren (Boston, april 17th 1963 ); Pal married with her in December 21
1991, she is an american filmmaker. They meet in Engand when she was attending her studies there.

one little baby boy called "Aguie", nickname of August (4th august 1999).
