Let it be recognized that all People have certain unaliable rights and freedoms on which no government may infringe; that these rights include, but are not limited to, the right to freedom of speech, religion, security of person and property, political and individual freedom and sovereignty, happiness and the right to live in a lawful and peaceful society. Let it further be recognized that in the course of history when a peoples feel it needed to sever the bonds that bind one people with another that it be right and just for them to declare the greivances and injustices that they have suffered as a result of that political connection. Let it therefore be said that the Queen of England and her political representatives in Canada have been guilty of the following usurpations and reprehensible contact; striking against the inherent rights of mankind in the colonies of Canada: She has allowed a system of government to be setup that alienates the political choices of a majority of the population of the colonies. She has transfered the sovereignty of the people, whom justly should be represented in the elected legislature, into the hands of a Prime Minister whom is selected by the few rather than the many. She has allowed a corrupted assembly to levy taxes and duties on the peoples as a whole while the government is not supported by a majority of the people. She has ignored the interests of the colonies and focused solely on the interests of the United Kingdom wherein she resides. She has neglegted continual visitation to the colonies whom she allegedly reigns over and despite this neglect claims she cares deeply for. She has allowed a corrupt colonial governmental system to continue threatening the very fabric and nature of society in the colonies of Canada. She has allowed a system of colonial exploitation to occur where all the riches of the several colonies are transported to the center, to the benefit of the middle colony and the detriment to the several. We have asked on many occasions that the situations within the colonies be addressed rightly and fairly and that principles of majoritarianism, representative government, responsible and accountable government and the will of the peoples be respected. Since the sovereign, The Queen of England, will not correct the state of cancerous decay within the colonial government and respond to the needs and will of the people let it be declared that these colonies are, and ought to be FREE AND INDEPENDENT STATES and that the peoples of said states shall henceforth create a system of government which derives it's powers from the consent of the governed.
