 1526Battle of Mohácz, Suleiman the Magnificent overwhelmingly defeated Hungarian forces. The battle was quickly followed by the Fall of Budapest.
 1612Battle of Kringellen. Scottish troops in Swedish service ambush and massacre Norwegians.
 1622Battle of Fleuris. Palatinate Germans lost all their infantry to Spanish attack while attempting to retreat from the Battle of Hoëchst.
