Ania Dabrowski

Ania who was proclaimed a child prodigy at an early age, is a classically trained musician with piano and is teaching students how to play piano and guitar. She has achived many award of merit for her piano skills over the years. She went to the University of Windsor for piano and decided to uproot and move to Hamilton and study at McMaster University.

She has received the Bedford Medal at the University of McMaster January 24th 2003. Presented by Dr. Howard Jones dean of McMaster University. This only one of many awards given to her.

Although she made a much earlier appearance December 15th 1995 singing back up vocals for Ray Is Gay with Mark Tadijanovich's younger sisters Irena and Christina Tadijanovich. Ania wasn't officially in the band until its February 22nd 1997 show at the Turnround.

She used to be one of the fronting members of The Furry Ongion Band where she played bass and sang. After that she formed part of the Blue Sued Gnus with Jennifer Tsronis-Palmer, who was also a member of Furry Ongion. In that band she played bass again as well as singing. Later she started to play guitar with Jeff and formed the duo Egg Monks which later changed their name to Cougar Melons. She was playing in a guitar duo with Chelse Pratt called Buck Fever.

The project of Buck Fever fell apart months after it was formed and Ania and Chelse went their separate ways. Ania started to play with several different musicians in Hamilton and finaly in the summer of 2004 formed a full band called Onya with Jeff playing guitar. However the fever soon stopped, temperature came down and the Fat Kids Club reigned.
