There are four categories of New Mutants, but as I stated before, there are sub-categories.
I think I got them all within these pages, if not, tell me.

As I stated before, these are the main categories:
- Molecular
- Psionic
- Elemental
- Feral
Try to keep up as I am now gonna go through the sub-categories:
Molecular
N.M.'s who can defy the laws of science.
- Intangibility
(able to move through solids)
- Imperviousness
(Able to withstand physical pentration)
- Invisibility
(Not able to be seen with normal sight)
- Propulsion
(Accelerated motion/speed)
- Gravitative
(Able to alter the weight in one's self, others, or objects)
- Chronomatic
(Effects color, light, etc.)
- Stasis-Suspension
(Effects time)
- Replication
(self cloning, etc.)
- Elasticity
(Able to alter size & shape)
** The last one, Elasticity, is extremely rare. Out of the entire N.M. Database at Sanctuary, I think there's only like two or three.
** It is quite common to find moleculars (like Jesse) who have more than one of these traits.

Psionic
N.M.'s whose mental capabilities have been heightened.
- Telepathic
(Able to read others' minds)
- Telekinetic
(Able to move objects with one's mind)
- Telempathic
(Able to feel others emotions & adjust them)
- Precog
(Able to see future events)
- Illusionist
(Able to create unreal visuals and/or attitudes)
- Telecyber
(Able to access computers with one's mind)
** Telecybers are rare. **
** Psonics are the most difficult of all the New Mutant types to control. **

N.M.'s who can channel energy (elemental/environmental) through their bodies.
- Electrical
(Absorbed, thrown off, or can be come it)
- Thermal
(Heat/Cold related)
- Sonic
(Sound related)
- Chemical
- Botanical

(Earth related)

N.M.'s who has part animal DNA.
- Feline
(Cat, Lion, Tiger, etc.)
- Ursine
(Bear)
- Canine
(Dog, Wolf, etc.)

- Reptus
(Lizard, Snake, etc.)
- Amphibian
(Frog, Salamander, newt, etc.)
- Piscis
(Fish)
- Aves
(To date, there has never been an Ave created.)
