So you want to know more about me, huh?  ...wierdo.
Okay, I'll tell you a little bit.  I live in one of the most boring states in the U.S. (Illinois), love to write storiespoems (though that's mostly halted), and songs, often find myself opening 50 browser windows to fully research a topic that interests me, and spend a lot of my free time reading books, mostly of the sci-fi/fantasy variety.  (Translation: Have No Life.)
I would love to learn to speak Japanese, although overall Latin is my favorite language.  Somehow I feel like learning to speak it would lessen some of its magic for me.
I love to roleplay.  My favorite roleplaying system is White Wolf, which runs a LOT of games, but I also like freeform roleplaying.  (I'm more into the ROLEplaying than the battle side of it.)  I used to mostly play on telnet, but due to a time crunch I do more tabletop, even though the group I play with doesn't get together more than once a month or so.
My favorite expressions are: groovy, smurfy, peachy-keen, oy, and sayings like: "Son of a monkey!".  Also, an expression I made up:  "Schneike!"  It's like "Nike" but with a "sch" in front of it.  When I get irritated, I'm more likely to say "Aw, suck!" or "Stink muffin!" than actually cuss.  I generally reserve cussing for cranky days and sucky people  :o)
I don't watch a lot of TV, but when I do, I watch mostly sci-fi and drama.  I'll admit to being a Friends fan.  I also love anime such as: Outlaw Star, Inuyasha, Tenchi Muyo (first season only), Wicked City, Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, Pet Shop of Horrors, Vampire Hunter D (original and new), etc.  Believe it or not, I am *not* a mech fan... unlike most anime fans I've met.  I was in love with the TV show "Murder in Small Town X."  (The show is now over... Suck.)  I'm a huge Star Trek fan, especially TOS and TNG.  I adore the old show Space Cases, and I'll always be a Buffy and Angel fan.  As to more modern shows, I like Cold Case, Law & Order (most any variety, though SVU remains my favorite), CSI (occasionally), Carnivale (they cancelled it!  *sobs*), Lost, Medium, you get the idea.  If it has a dark theme, I'm so there.  Then again, I'm also in love with stuff like Family Guy, Doctor Who, Mr. Show, and Who's Line Is It Anyway?.
Music-wise, I'm mainly into techno/goth/industrial, but my tastes vary /widely/.

Stuff I'm into: Obyron, Rob Dougan, VAST, Nirvana, Sarah Fimm, David Sylvian, Velvet Acid Christ, Dream Theater, Laibach, Coldplay, Bauhaus, Perfect Circle, Die Form, Tweaker, The Cruxshadows, Covenant (No, not the metal band), Apocalyptica, Wolfsheim, Johnny Cash (no, I'm not joking), Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Depeche Mode, Voltaire, Aphex Twin, Switchblade Symphony, Pink Floyd, Luxt, Thumb, Rasputina, Babe the Blue Ox, S.P.O.C.K., The Smiths, Tool, Sister Machine Gun, Tori Amos, C-Tec, Flaw, Snake River Conspiracy, Nonpoint, The Tea Party, NiN, System of a Down, Tear Garden, Bel Canto, Traci Lords (yes, she makes music), Collide, Stabbing Westward, Apoptygma Berzerk, and... I'm blanking on what else.  Let's just say it's an expansive list.
I love comics.  I like: Evil Ernie, Preacher, Crimson, Hellboy, Darkness, Battle Chasers, and a bunch more that I can't think of right now.
I have one son, Seth.  He was born on Christmas Eve, 1999, and he's so cute! For pictures, click here. They're quite a bit outdated... I believe the latest I have on the page are those from the mid-2003 era, but ah well.
Well, that's about it for now.  Let me know if you've a burning curiousity to know more.

Politically, I tend to get into more than one debate.  I don't truly identify with any one party, not even so-called "fringe" groups.  I didn't support G. W. Bush in either election, and I honestly feel that he's done more to destroy America than any terrorist ever could.
Religiously, I prefer to let you believe what you believe, and I'll keep being merrily atheist until I see some cold, hard, compelling evidence otherwise.  :o)
