You decide to interrupt him before he knocks over the candle, which could be disasterous. "I'm looking for the clutch records. Do you know where they are?"
He nods absent-mindedly. "Yeah, they're right here. Umm, I'll just let you look through them. Put them up when you're done, okay?" He gets up to leave. "If you need anything, call for me.
