| ALWAYS THERE You are a wonderful person And brilliant teacher. You taught us How to survive The ups and downs of life And never lost our attention With your witty humour, Actions and talk. Yes, your memory Ain’t too good But you made up for it With your kind And caring nature. We must also not forget The real Scot in you, Always showing through. You make time for others And put yourself after them, You truly understood us. Even if at times we did not show it, We are grateful for all you’ve done for us. You’ve always Listened to my fears, My feelings, And my views. You never Forced me to do What caused me pain But listened to my reasons. You did have to Hear the worst though Before you understood Why? You have a talent In helping people. You’re kind, caring, Understanding and truthful. You’ve been great to me And you helped me find The career That suited me. You are someone Who I greatly respected And looked up to Though there were some difficult times.
