Hi, welcome to the LINKS portion of this website. These links were found by Caitlin and Dustin, while researching Acid Rain. We've found them to be quite helpful, and we hope you can too! Thanks for visiting! This site will help you begin writing about Acid Rain. It will teach you what to look for online: http://www.lehigh.edu/~kaf3/books/reporting/acid.html This site is ran by the US government. It has very nice information on Acid Rain: http://www.epa.gov/airmarkets/acidrain/ This site is also ran by the USGS, it shows some major areas affected by Acid Rain, and also has great links to other informative sites: http://bqs.usgs.gov/acidrain/ This site is ran by the Canadian Government, so we used this site more on the side. (As our project delt mainly with the United States.) One thing that we noticed was that Canada blaimed most of their problems for acid rain on the U.S.: http://www.ec.gc.ca/acidrain/acidfact.html Another great site ran by the USGS, this website talks about what Acid Rain is, and also links to the USGS homepage: http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/acidrain/2.html A site ran by "Green Nature", this site is about Acid Rain in the Western United States. (May be a little one-sided, due to being ran by conservitive-type group): http://greennature.com/article869.html |
