Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, where have you been?
For as long as I can remember, I have had a special fondness for the species of the Cat.
I have had a few of these special felines throughout my lifetime, and I will always
remember how each one of them displayed their unique purr-sonalities. This page is
just a tribute to my favorite friends, just because I have not lead a single day without
one of them brightening it. God was in a good mood the day he thought of creating
the Cat; he gave them such endearing attributes knowing he was doing us females a
favor! Hmm... FE-male, FE-line.. makes one wonder...
There is always time for a cat nap!
He certainly keeps me on MY toes when I'm trying to type this..
he likes to wedge himself directly between me and the screen while standing on the keyboard.
What's not to Love?! Colby is a cat that I had received as a Birthday gift from my boyfriend-now-husband. Together we had scoured the papers of our local classifieds for "just the right cat" for me, as if there exists a wrong cat. Unfortunately, we had come to the decision to find Colby because soon after I had moved in with my husband my young cat Daisy had fallen ill, due to some toxin that was outside. That was a terrible shock to me, mostly due to way I had find out from my mother. Which was over the phone, many days AFTER the fatal event.
So, along with the bad, came the good, and it was Colby.
We spent an entire Saturday calling the numbers listed in the papers,
and the next day we met Colby in a parking lot of a hotel.
Colby stays indoors, but he is very interested in the birdies that play outside! :) He stares out my bedroom window, makes a little weird MEW noise every now and then, and stays that way with his tail flipping back and forth until something scares the birdies away.
Colby is a mouser! He adores those little play mice, and he demolishes its tail a day or two after fiddling with it.. and I wake up with these mice occassionally, knowing full well that it was not I who summoned them to me. Ok, as I type, the- speak-of-the-DEVIL-cat is firmly rested in my lap... of course using my right arm (the one I really need to type with) as his own prop-up pillow. And now it (the arm) is falling asleep along with the cat....he is making this difficult... but that's why I love him...he's full of heart and spirit and adventure.. and he NEEDS me!!

It's a page you certainly should not miss if you are even slightly interested in adopting this unique breed.
If I didn't live in a teeny apartment with two happy cats already, I would adopt a Ragdoll again in a split second! And I can hear the echo of my husband: 'That would be over my dead body!'
But my sweet husband has also given me much, much more...
and I won't hold my addictions to all cats against him!
