Reading Scripture is an essential part of discoving one's vocation. Within the Bible are the WORDS OF GOD. Think about that. You hear those words every Sunday, and they quickly become another phrase. The Lord left us His life in two ways: Eucharist and Scripture. Find a passage in the Bible and read it over and over again. Let it sink in, and then think about what you have read; think about what it means and keep going, but let me warn you. If you are faint of heart, lacking faith, or have any other spiritual ailments you are a prime canidate for this practice, because if you continue reading and absorbing scripture you will find the rest of your faith. Do it quick too. For Jesus said that the faint of heart may not enter heaven, but have faith Jesus came not to call the righteous, but the sinners. |
