Enchantress

Quietly she will wait
Transfixed eyes filled with ravens dust
Persistent voices sing out to her
Teaching wisdom of circles past
She has known, for a very long time

The leaves drip autumn red
They dance in welcome of winter harvest
Blood entanglements bind long ones past
Snowflakes mingle in faceless crowds

Silently she will wait
Her eyes focus on the enchanted dream
Surrendering to whispers hazed in secret
Submission becomes the fantasy of charm
She has been, for a very long time

Moonlight shadows illuminate form
Through her hands this mystery has passed
She steps within spheres of unknown worlds
Followed by the footprints of angels
Crying out to be believed

A Season's Change

Fledgling one, your arrival shook the foundations of mother earth
I stood in witness to her gentle arms wrapping around you
Watching as the warm soil protected and nutured your needs
She towered tenderly above, ever-present in hiding you from harm

You began to grow strong in the season of new beginnings
The bittersweet songs of birds and thunderstorms encircled you
I see also the impressions of scars left upon your tender flesh
Mothers leaves began to wither in the summer heat

Together your loyality held steadfast, facing the drenching rains
The angry winds tore and ravaged tender leaves
Wisdom surpassed knowledge, being taught to bend instead of break
As limbs intertwined in an embrace, capturing those moments of time

A crisp autumn breeze brought forth a splendor of colors
Change loomed ever present, as one shifted place with the other
Gallantly you stood, a fierce protector in those final days
Webbed branches reaching out with lessons learned, some too late

A savage winters snow lain cold upon your naked form
The brown tattered leaves long fallen away
Within the chilled forest one has begun to question
Did her falling make even a sound ?

This Secret Garden

Twilight reveals the morning dew
As I descend into this secret place
Long have I been a guardian here
Held in bondage through immaculate charm

A kaleidoscope of color and mystique
Nocturnal creatures soon to relinquish night
Tranquillity soothes the stillness within
How I admire this lonley woven tapestry

Silence is broken ever so gently
Fear and curiosity emerge the same
My eyes focus upon intoxicating sights
Such beauty lashes me spellbound

Masterfully she moves within
Nonchalant her perception of this garden
Exposure can only be mine
As a tantalizing smile crosses her lips

She feels me watching, this I know
Symmetry is chained between us now
I strive for balance in thought to her
I will return subservient to her spell

Retrospection

Apathetic I cling
To the weeping winds
Memory forever taints the subconscious
I have summoned this visitation
Tangible is this goblet of saddness

Questions like the pendulum swing
Many so
I have wondered where you are
Whom have you become

What dreams have you followed
Has failure left you callous and tired
Are you begrudged and alone
Or has ambition bartered complacency

I cede these memories now
Chastised
We detach to predetermined places
Both searching the abyss of escape
Devoid we linger
Only hurting each other

Sculptured Mask

Anger flashes blue fires prism
Bitterness bonds vengeance deep within
Blood mingles the stain of smoldering rage
Pungent venom drips torrid this hatred

Thoughts of innocence pass with childhood
Credible emotions despondent and debased
Each instilled by actions of yesterday
Cascading into endless rivers of regret

Coerce not this conerstone
Obsidian black disenchants the soul
Vindication is methodical in deed
Malice leaves one stagnant and void

How shrewd this on going passage
Erosion cleansing the defilement of decay
Symmetry and tolerance pledge peace
Reconciled and renounced with time

The beginning of the end
Shackled no more to serrated pieces
To breathe in
This ineffable splendor
