| May 2003: Darkest greetings to all our delicious fans! Over the last few months, the band have been guest DJ's at Arcania, The Black Cat Club, Sanctuary, Absynth and Diablo. Our playlists included all of the usual goth two-step midi driven gems by artists such as Covenant, Rammstein, Sisters of Mercy, Apot. Berserk, Vast and of course, a few Chainsawed Dingleberries tracks. Thanks to all the positive feedback we received both by email and the sheer writhing chaos demonstrated on the dancefloors, the band have been booked to play live at every Gothic Ball at these clubs for the rest of the year. Once dates have been confirmed, details will be available on this site. Many thanks to everyone who has sent in fan mail and signed our guestbook! | December 2002: The first week of December saw the long-awaited release of Chainsawed Dingleberries third album finally come into fruition. EPITOME was released on the 4th of December amid (false) rumours of the bands seventh break-up and (yet another) drug related arrest. Spokes-person for the band - Shadow Rosethorne - had this to say: "I don't really know what these rumour-spreaders are trying to do - I mean, the band is feeling really good about this album and some nasty person has tried to quash their spirits by spreading fake rumours, designed to hurt the band members feelings.. I guess it's just part of being in the spotlight and it's all a growth experience. Regardless, record sales are through the roof" And it's true: Sales within the first two weeks were unbelievably high which have prompted the band to initiate touring plans. TOUR DATES TO FOLLOW |
