| Well for those of you in the UK who are Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans, you may know that Amber Benson (Tara) is currently in the UK, doing guest signings in various branches of Forbidden Planet, and making numerous T.V appearances (which I keep missing LOL). Anywhoo, I went along to one of the signings and met her. I'd never been to anything like that before so I was WELL chuffed to say the least. LOL!Tara is my favourite character from BtVS, so I nearly fell over when I saw the poster sayin Amber was going to make an appearance. Apparently, so one of the staff members was saying, some people started queuing (is that right?) like up to 3 hours before people were being let in!! I got there about 20mins early and the queue was huge I think I was waiting for about 1 hour and a half, maybe longer. Anyway, when it came to my turn, I got me photo taken with her, (and I HATE having my photo taken! Ask anyone I know.) Then asked if she could sign this drawing I had done of her. She actually gave me a hug when she saw it, ME! hugged ME! LOL, (she actually hugged quite a few people I think, but still...) |

| Anyway, I think she liked it, she showed it to her mother, and then i got to chat with her mum too, who was also very nice.So yes I can honestly say I was positively beaming when I came out again. haha. She was so nice to everyone, and quite chatty, think thats why people were taking so long, when you were in the queue, you thought it was the people taking like ages or something, but it was Amber, chatting to everyone! hah. So that was cool. So those of you who are in the vicinity of a Forbidden Planet where she is making an appearance, MAKE SURE YOU GO !! you'll kick yourself if you don't 'cos she 's so nice :O ) I nearly didn't go, I nearly bottled it.Anywhoo, hope u like the pic, I hope to do some more in the future, when I get some pictures together. So keep checking back! |
