God Bless The USA, by Lee Greenwood
May your troubled heart
find peace and comfort in the knowledge
that you are never alone.
May God's presence ease
your trembling spirit and give you rest.
He knows how you feel.
He is ever aware of your circumstances
and ready to be your strength,
your grace, and your peace.
He is there to cast sunlight
into all of your darkened shadows,
to send encouragement through the love
of friends and family, and
to replace your weariness with new hope.
God is your stronghold,
and with Him as your guide,
you need never be afraid.
No circumstances can block His love.
No grief is too hard for Him to bear.
No task is too difficult
for Him to complete.
When what you are feeling
is simply too deep for words
and nothing anyone does or says
can provide you with the relief you need,
God understands.
He is your provider --
today, tomorrow, and always.
And He loves you.
Cast all of your cares on Him...
and believe.

Hello God
Hello God, I called tonight
To talk a little while.
I need a friend who'll listen
To my anxiety and trial
You see, I can't quite make it
Through a day just on my own.
I need your love to guide me,
So I'll never feel alone
I want to ask you to keep
My family safe and sound,
Come and fill their lives with confidence
For whatever fate they're bound
Give me faith dear God, to face
Each hour throughout the day,
And not to worry over things
I can't change in anyway
I thank you God, For being home
And listening to my call,
For giving me such good advice
When I stumble and fall
Your number, God, is the only one
That answers every time,
I never get a busy signal,
Never had to pay a dime
So thank you, God, for listening
To my troubles and my sorrow
Good night, God, I love You, too,
And I'll call again tomorrow!

God Will Take Care of You
"He Himself has said,
I will not in any way fail you
nor give you up
nor leave you without support."
--Hebrews 13:5
Father God,
I pray this morning not for myself, family or friends.
I plead unto You Dear Lord, The Almighty, The
All powerful, raise Your hands Lord to those affected
by the events of today. I know Lord ALL things
ARE possible when two or more are gathered in prayer!
I pray Dear Lord that You would embrace those
injured, those grieving, those who are reaching outside
themselves helping the afflicted from this mornings
tragedies. I pray Father God, that You would rise
above anything upon this Earth Lord that is not
of You! I love you Lord with all that I am, all that
I have been, and all that I am yet to be.
Help me Lord to do what I can to serve You Lord
and to help in any way possible to ease the pain
that crosses our great nation during the events of today.
It is in Jesus precious and Holy Name I pray,
Amen
