This is me and Travis now. How did he get taller than me? Time goes by. "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord:" Psalm 127:3-5 |

Travis is 14. This is 'Ezekiel' his Lab pup. Zeke acts human, and is very well trained by his boy. |

These two were taken in our study. We both love to learn languages, study the Bible, and play around on computers. Travis also loves geography and maps. I love Math. We both read alot of Science books. |

Travis spends much of his time in the land of Narnia, or in Middle Earth. He loves the books of the Lord of the Rings series and the Chronicles of Narnia. As you can see, he fights the forces of the enemy with sword and bow. |

Once upon a time, the boys were small. The first three are Matt, the two after those are Travis, and the next one is both boys at Tybee Island... all in another lifetime...from a land far away. |

My Sleeping Clown
Night falls too quickly, we hurried through the day. A few hundred tiny action figures around your bedroom lay. I pause in your doorway, shocked at the sight; As I watch you sleeping in your bed tonight.
Not so long ago, I saw a toddler's face. Now, lanky arms and legs are sprawled all over the place; My mind drifts back to another time and place; When you clapped and giggled with a smile on your face.
I remember the clowns in your nursery at night. I remember the rocker where we read by lamplight. The clowns seemed to dance in your nursery at night. They knew what I was thinking, they knew of my fright. Long after you slept, I sat with the clowns awhile. I watched your sleeping face, and I thought of your sweet smile. I prayed God would make you happy and always keep you near. I knew how children grow and leave, but your smile I held so dear.
Now you lay sleeping, and as I tuck you in so tight, I remember the day that's ended and I turn out the light. To God above i whisper a silent thankful prayer; For you still have that smile and my clown is still here.

Gift From God
My sweet little bundle of pleasure, I knew the moment I heard your cry. Your eyes were searching, your arms reaching. They laid you in my waiting arms.
I pressed you tightly to my heart. I felt your cheek touch mine. I smelled your soft baby flesh and knew, I'd seen first glimpse of a gift from God. |

Angel Kiss
Sweet lips as warm as sunshine, you light my heart. Eyes that sparkle with only a hint of their depth. You paint beauty on the canvas of my world, And stir my soul with the questions of a sage.
Born at the crossroads between two worlds; God sent you to fill empty arms. Whenever I call your name you come running, To give me a heartfelt angel kiss.

The Eye of a Dream
Quiet, reflective dreamer. You are a dream! You came to me Where the paths traversed.
I see your soul When I look in your eyes. You give away your thoughts, Lost somewhere in your world.
Unmovable by the world outside, Everything comes from within. I know you, or do I? You haven't yet revealed Just who you are.

Heartbeat of the Unborn
Cold stethoscope, cold hand, Warm feeling. Big hopes, big dreams, Tiny fetus.
Faint understainding, faint perception, Sharp kicks. Fast, beating, pumping heart; Ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom.... |
