Decades, centuries, and millenniums are all celebrated with a bigger bang than the rest. People will often count down the last ten seconds until 12 o' clock and then sing the song Auld Lang Syne. Auld Lang Syne is a Scottish phrase and song, and a poet named Robert Burns wrote his own version of the song in the 1700's. The song is thought to be much older. ![]()
