The Scholastic Achievement of Home School Students

This links to the results of a 1999 study by the Educational Research
Information Center Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation.

The study states that "home school student achievement test scores were exceptionally high"
and "by the time home school students are in 8th grade,
they are four years ahead of their public/private school counterparts."

Alliance for the Separation of School and State

I support the separation of school and state.

What this means is that I believe the $300 billion dollars annually
spent on public education in this country could be put to better use
if the responsibility for education was returned to parents.

Our public schools have failed to provide excellence in education for children,
and have even become dangerous centers of illegal activity.

I believe children can be better educated in private or home schools
and that charities can be set up to provide for the educational needs
of children whose parents cannot afford private instruction alternatives.

Please consider joining with the thousands who already
support this change in state and federal legislation.
