Setting the Stage
A full platoon of clone troopers was sent to Pengalan IV aboard the Sea Legacy to destroy a diamond boron missiles facility in the city of Tur Lorkin.  These missiles were designed to shoot down Republic starfighters.  With them was Joram Kithe, a cowardly, yet resourceful, accountant for the Republic.  His charge was to evaluate the clone troopers’ military value to help determine if the Republic would purchase more clones.  He never envisioned that he’d have to help lead the actual military strike.
The Battle
A battle ensued among arrival to the planet in which a majority of the clone trooper platoon was wiped out.  Joram and the few remaining clone troops had to destroy the facility on their own.  Joram noticed that these clones behaved differently than other clone troopers.  They were less apt to blindly take orders like others he’d seen.  Having trouble keeping up with the clones (they all look alike), Joram gave them all nicknames based on an event surrounding each individual clone (i.e. one trooper once lost a tooth so he named him “Tooth.”)  Other clone nicknames included Digger, Dodge, Mapper, Wrench, Hash, and Spade.  After the nicknames were assigned, the platoon leader, Tooth, suggested a plan to infiltrate the missile facility.  Under Tooth's leadership, the group was able to get inside, obtain disguises, identicards, and fingerprints of Separatist agents.  Tooth was able to create a diversion, which allowed Joram and another team of troopers to destroy the facility.  In the melee, Tooth and several other clone troopers fell to the Separatist defense.  The remaining clones and Joram were able to secure transport off the planet from a spaceport in Tur Lorkin.  Finally, during the escape, Digger revealed to Joram that his platoon of clones were “not regulars.”  He described his platoon to be “a little more self-reliant than the others.  To be capable of more initiative.”  Digger informed Joram that there were more out there like them in case the Republic needed troopers for more specialized missions.  [Tasty Taste (Lelan Chee, keeper of the holocron) has confirmed that these specialized troopers are ARCs, which we first see in Republic #50.]  Joram was supposed to assume the platoon was normal and write a “glowing report of the clone trooper’s military value.  To help persuade the powers that be that all troopers perform like elites.”  Clearly this was a cover-up, but by whom?  A higher up in the Republic?  Chancellor Palpatine?  A Jedi? – Sounds kind of interesting…
Outcome
The Republic mission to Pengalan is succesful.

Setting the Stage
General Obi-Wan Kenobi is a passenger on a pleasure cruiser to Alderaan. Droid 68-RKO, on his way to serve Prince Bail Organa, befriends Kenobi. A criminal named Augustus Tryll tries unsuccessfully to hire Kenobi on a venture.
The Battle
As the liner nears the Merson asteroid belt, Captain Quasar asks for Kenobi's help to defend the cruiser against Merson slaver pirates.
As he defends the ship against attack, he learns that a signal from the cruiser is guiding the pirates to them. He has to defend Tryll from the angry passengers who think he sold them out. He finds and destroys the signal -- a fermenter machine. The ship goes on to Alderaan in peace.

Setting the Stage
Transmission networks, resumed functioning today in the Taldo sector when Republic forces destroyed an experimental jamming platform employed by the Separatists.

Communications had been disrupted for four standard days, following the arrival of a confederacy of Independent Systems flotilla over Balamak, an important food-producing world in the Mid Rim.  One Separatist vessel was a Trade Federation Droid Control Ship with a modified transmission array to broadcast jamming signals capable of disrupting a key HoloNet node.
The Battle
A Republic task force, led by Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Nanda-Ree Janoo engaged the flotilla with a starfighter attack.  It was Kenobi's apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who delivered the missile volley that destroyed the jamming craft.  Victory is also being credited to Adar Tallon, the renowned starfighter tactician who planned the attack.

Republic's Story
Jedi General Empatojoyos Brand's twilight push against the Separatists holed in the Agao Ranges has won the twelve-day Battle of Bassadro.  Brand led his armored battalion of clone troopers to the rain-slicked obsidian crags of Bassadro's dormant volcanic ranges that offered cover to the Separatist forces.  Brand ordered concussive missile strikes against the rock formations, not only destroying the Separatist's cover but also decimating the battle droid infantry with the resulting razor-sharp shrapnel.  The Separatist commander, Major Domb Treeto, a Skakoan, signed a treaty with Brand, surrendering Bassadro and its mineral wealth back to the Republic fold.
CIS's Story
Demonstrating the desperate lengths to which the Republic will go to further their stranglehold on outlaying worlds, evidence has surfaced that a Jedi-led battalion of clone troopers wiped out the entire mining village of Agao-Nir in the glassy volcanic crags of the Agao Ranges, killing an estimated 400 native villagers.

Transmissions from CIS Major Domb Treetor, former Appropriations Chief of the Techno Union, indicate that the clone began firing at the natural rock formations surrounding the Bassadroan village, and the Jedi General would order cease-fire only upon Treetor's surrender.

The barrage of anti-armor-armor concussion missiles into the razor-sharp obsidian created a deadly storm of shrapnel that sliced through the mining village.  The airborne rock fragments also damaged many CIS assets under Treetor's command.

Rather than have the Republic forces further target civilians or potential laborers, Treetor surrendered.  With the loss of Bassadro, the Commerce Guild Presidente Shu Mai is recalculating mining quotas among strategic producer worlds to make up for the deficit.

"The Callous lack of value shown by the Republic in this exercise is appalling," said Shu Mai in an official statement.  "Each of those miners represented a hard worker with invested skill levels.  The synergistic aggregate of the village total was far beyond the worth of each individual."
Outcome
The Republic takes Bassadro.
