Subject:  5 Years After 9/11

A design of my painting in 2001 a few days before 9/11.

Contemplating the 9/11, that has been more than five years and a few days ago, I still wonder what had really happened that a few days before it happened I was making a design about you and a twin building in a shape of a gate like in the above picture.  And the trilogy of my previous paintings of "Windows" about the situation in a room of a newly wed couple at the back ground of that design.

What have I done wrong, that a super power country like the US could have the flaw that breach the modern defense system supported by modern technology. Of course I hope the tragedy of 9/11 has nothing to do with me, except of the above coincidence of my producing the painting design a few days earlier.

But maybe it could also become one of the strong reason why I should make a journey to certain sacred places in the middle east, to find any answer of some strange things that happened to me. Though it means that I should postpone my intention to have the destiny of Rembrandt and Van Gogh, because after all such journey would require some fund, and I hope to sell some of my paintings soon. Besides, it could be the journey to the middle east that become a significant part of my moving out of this world.

Hurricane Lane quickly picked up strength and raced along Mexico's Pacific coast on Friday, threatening to become a major storm over the weekend but veering away from a luxury resort popular with U.S. tourists.(NOAA/Handout/Reuters)Reuters - Sep 15 8:36 PM

This NOAA satellite image taken Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 01:15 PM EDT shows Hurricanes Gordon and Helene well out to sea. Gordon is expected to begin to lose its status as a tropical cyclone in the next few days, while Helene will continue moving west and possibly strengthen. Gordon poses almost no threat to any land areas, while Helene could affect the US or Bermuda in the next week or so. Log on to http://www.wunderground.com/tropical for more information.

Last month my sister in law Lena asked me to help her decorate a new small noodle restaurant that she just developed near hear house. I was writing the name of the restaurant on the front of it to make it easier for the customers to know what is it.

In the middle of this month, two hurricane approaching the US mainland happened to be Hurricane Lane and Hurricane Helene, two names that rather similar to the name of my sister in law Lena. I consider it as a sign from above that I should soon sell some of my paintings to finance my journey to the middle east, because it would be inappropriate if I kept on depending on my brother and sister for my day to day expenses, while they are getting the funds not in easy way.

Especially if I should make important journey to the middle east as a significant part of my moving out of this world, I should be better finance it myself rather than burdening my family.
