Subject:  Digital One with No Fox News, Reminding My Sponger Status

Just a few days after I wrote about "Rupert Murdoch Plan of Placing Bid on Dow Jones" whereas I mentioned that ".......Fox News boss, the media mogul form down under Australia, Rupert Murdoch, interested in planning to launch a takeover bid for the US publishing firm Dow Jones.......", I no longer be able to watch Fox News because of a new regulation by the cable TV operator.

Effective 16 May 2007, the cable TV operator in Jakarta Kabelvision implements a new regulation through the launching of Digital One, which required the subscriber to use a decoder in order to receive the foreign channels. Without a decoder, only national and local channels are available. And each decoder could only serve one TV set.

This new regulation makes me unable to watch foreign TV channels, because the decoder is used by my brother in law and my sister in their bedroom, while my 14 inch TV in my bedroom could only receive national and local channels.

After all I thank the cable TV operator because it reminds me that I have been living for many years in my sponger status, and it is ironic with my work of writing some inspiring letters that often inspired some multinational companies or even multimillionaires around the world.

Well, I hope I could soon sell some of my paintings at good price so I would no longer have to remain in my sponger status.

Thursday 17 May 2007 in the middle of the day through the mailing list of my ex-senior high school friends I wrote a message to my friend Opik : ".....'ntar gue pikirin dulu deh...." which has the meaning of "I would think of it later......." . It was my response to his idea of asking me to read a poetry in the reunion of my senior high school friends that would be held on 26 May 2007, the reunion of 30th year of leaving the senior high school.

Later on in the evening at some TV channels there were the news about a Honda Jazz falling from the 6th floor of spiral ramp of the parking level at ITC Permata Hijau, the car was flying free straight to the ground. Three people inside the car, a family consisting of Mr. Topan Rusli, his wife Mrs. Trisna Priyatna, and their son Samuel Kevin, died instantly. They had just left a church after a religious service on that Ascension Day of Jesus. It was a new car, purchased in March 2007, driven by Mrs. Trisna who just learned to drive a car a few days earlier.

The time of the accident was approximately around the time I wrote the message in my ex-senior high school friends mailing list.

The word "pikirin" in my message actually has the meaning of "think about", but it could also sounds like "pick Irin", choose Irin, whereas the name Irin is the younger sister of Nita, my former neighbor. So the words "pick Irin" is like having the meaning of ".........I would prefer to get down to the younger sister.....". In regard of Paris and Nikky Hilton, it would be like I would go down to Nikky Hilton rather than to stay beside Paris Hilton.

In other words, the car accident was like reminding me not to get down to Nikky Hilton, because my promise is to treat Paris Hilton as my bridge to heaven to fulfill my consent to move to the eternity, for the good of this world.

The name of those deaths in the car accident also like containing some messages for me. The first name of Mr. Topan Rusli, is like the Indonesian word "topan" which means "hurricane". Like reminding me that after I began to write you these letters of Closing the Window of Disaster in mid 2006, there were no hurricane that threatened the U.S. along the year 2006, though some experts have predicted that there would some dangerous hurricanes.

Mr. Topan Rusli's last name, Rusli, was like related with my previous letter of "Chrysler "Divorce" from Daimler" whereas I wrote ".........By the time I was entering my brother's car, a Toyota Rush passed by and I remark: "That's the new Toyota, the Rush......." and my brother said yes. The next day there was the news about the nine-year tie-up between Daimler and Chrysler was officially unraveled, Daimler selling Chrysler to a private equity firm Cerberus......."

Mrs. Trisna Priyatna's first name is like containing the number three. While the son's name Samuel Kevin is like to remind me about my consent to meet the end of my life soon, because his last name Kevin is like a combination of an Indonesian word "ke" which means "to", and the English word "finish".

The floor from which the car had a free fall was 6th floor, in which number 6 in Indonesian is "enam" that sounds like "end A.M.", like reminding me of my consent to meet the end of my life.

Location of the accident is ITC Permata Hijau. The words Permata Hijau has the meaning of "green jewelry", like related with my pervious letter "Sending the Idea to Judge Sauer While Prolonging the SIM-A" whereas I wrote ".........the place of prolonging the SIM-A happened to be in the mobile office which in that day was parked in the front yard of Manggala Wanabhakti building, with a nice green scenery of a small nearby lake and a small island in the middle.............Like representing the view of heaven, commensurate with my consent to move out to the heaven soon without having to cause Paris' death......"

Some surges of high waves took place recently in many parts of Indonesia. Considering that in 2004, a few days after I visited the reunion of my ex-senior high school friends, there was the huge Asian Tsunami of December 26, 2004, with more than a hundred thousands victims, this recent high waves also make me concern about whether or not it is some kind of reminder for me. Because in the next few days, on 26 May 2007, there would be another reunion of my ex-senior high school friends, to commemorate the 30 year of leaving the senior high school in 1977. I am still contemplating whether or not I should attend the reunion event on 26 May 2007.
