Date: Thu, 7 Jun 2007 11:00 WesternIndonesiaTime Subject: A Letter to Paris Hilton in Jail
Since Friday June 1, 2007, came an idea in my mind to send a letter to Paris Hilton during her sentence in jail. When the letter was still being composed in my mind, among the words would be "everybody loves you Paris….". But then it reminds me with the words I used when my mother was in her last night before she died. It turned worse when in JakTV there was the news ticker about Paris Hilton on hunger strike approaching the beginning of her sentence on June 5, 2007. What if she kept on her hunger strike and died. Though later on I found out in the Internet that she denied such hunger strike, yet it did make me think about making additional words to the sentence into "please don’t die Paris……". The letter is like the above, but when I would like to send it there was a problem of the cost. It would cost me 142 thousands rupiahs to send it by Express Mail Service, and if I sent it by ordinary mail it would cost 10 thousands rupiahs. The problem is that both numbers could trigger some kind of political suspicion, since the 142 would be like "Firman would become the number one person in this country", while the 10 would be like "the number one person in this country would be zero". While if I used the courier service like DHL or FedEx or TNT, the cost would be double than the Express Mail Service. Thank God in another place I could find the "non-political" cost, 11 thousands, so I hope there would be no political suspicion of my sending it. There could be some questions regarding the date, if it was sent yesterday it would be on 6 June, concomitant with my consent to meet the end of my life. Because number 6 in Indonesian is "enam" that sounds like "end A.M.". Yet the problem was the month of June also known as month six, so it would become double six, or like "end A.M. end A.M." which could be interpreted as I would end my end A.M. consent.
