Singer of J-pop group ZARD Izumi Sakai dies at 40

(Kyodo) _ Izumi Sakai, the singer of Japanese pop group ZARD, died of a brain contusion at a hospital in Tokyo on Sunday afternoon after falling from stairs, her office said Monday. The police are investigating whether her death was caused by an accident or suicide. She was 40.

She was repeatedly hospitalized from June last year due to uterine cervix cancer, her office said. She returned to hospital in April after the cancer was found to have spread to her lung, it said.

Sakai, whose real name was Sachiko Kamachi, made her debut in 1991 as the singer of ZARD. In the group, Sakai wrote lyrics and gained popularity among young people with songs like "Yureru Omoi" (Swinging Feeling) and "My Friend."

According to the police and her office, Sakai fell about 3 meters down an emergency staircase in a hospital, slamming the back of her head.

An official at her office said, "She slipped on the staircase due to rain the previous day when she was going back to her hospital room after a walk."

On the same day of Japan’s Agricultural Minister suicide of May 28, 2007, another death happened to a famous Japanese rock singer Izumi Sakai from a rock band Zard. I never heard of her nor her rock band, but the death was caused by her "slipped on the staircase". It was like related with my previous letter of May 28, 2007, about Escorted Upstairs at Penang Bistro, whereas I wrote: "......I thought it was more appropriate for me, to get upstairs earlier than my other friends, escorted by a female who told about the hot air like representing Paris Hilton, commensurate with my consent to move up to the eternity alone by myself with the help of Paris Hilton as my bridge to heaven......"

Izumi Sakai died at the age of 40 years old. The "four zero" was like related with my name "Firman" whereas in Dutch and German the word "fir" has the meaning  of "four". It becomes like a message for me that my moving upstairs would result in my own zero, to move to the eternity, and not endangering Paris Hilton.

Another accident took place at ITC again. Previously it was the Three Death In Honda Jazz' Fell Down from 6 Floor of ITC Permata Hijau in Jakarta. And now it is at ITC in Surabaya, a city around 1,000 km to the East of Jakarta. At around 13.30 West Indonesia Time, a six years old child fell down from the first floor to the lower ground floor, causing her death. Below the first floor, the building has ground floor, upper ground floor, and lower ground floor. So she was falling down three floors.

According to Chem Fuk, her father, the six years old girl Livia Mudita was going to the ITC Mega Grosir, a grocery shopping plaza, with her parents. When her mother was shopping at Carrefour hypermarket, Livia went with her father to some other shops. While her father was busy with his shopping need, Livia left the shop alone. Since they have often went there, her father thought it was all right to let Livia go alone by her self, he thought she would find the way to her mother Kok Lai.

A few minutes later people were crowded nearby the escalator, and her father found out that Livia had fell down to the lower ground floor. From the CCTV security camera of the building, it was clear that she first approached a descending escalator, climbed the steel fence nearby the escalator, and her left leg stuck in the moving rubber holder of the escalator causing her to be brought to the other side of the fence and fell through to the lower ground floor, three floors away from the first floor.

Subject:  Livia's Death 3 Hours After My Previous Letter

What makes me concern about the accident at ITC Surabaya was that it happened just around three hours after I wrote my previous letter of A Choice for My Consent to Move to the Eternity?,  whereas I wrote ".......Nevertheless, I think life is too precious to cut in whatever kind of suicide......."

So I think I need to make it clear here that it did not mean that I no longer have the consent to move to the eternity. I still have the consent to move to the eternity, only I would prefer that it never come in a suicide, instead it would happen naturally in God's way. For example, it could happen when I travel to certain places in this world.

Subject:  My 3 Letters at the Mailing List of My Old Friend Preceding Livia's Death

At the same day of June 3, 2007, before the accident of Livia Mudita's falling at ITC Surabaya, I wrote three letters in the mailing list of my senior high school friends.

11:18 am, I wrote to my friend Opik, "....changing the topic, does that mean Opik would change his name or what? Never mind, as long as it is not about changing head......."

Later on I found out that Livia Mudita's head was broken when she fell at ITC Surabaya.

11:37 am, I wrote to my friend Benyamin, I called him "bang Benyamin". The word "bang" has the meaning of "older brother".

Yet later on I realized that it also sounds like the bang of Livia's head to the ground when she fell.

11:26 am, I wrote about my friend Boyke who just joined the membership of the mailing list, "........It is guaranteed that our friend Boyke would always become the youngest among us, because he would always become a "Boy", never become a "Man", what even an "Old Man"........"

Later on I realized that Livia Mudita's last name was like the Indonesian word "Mudi" from the word "pemudi" which means "young woman".

My deepest condolence to the young girl and may the parent given strength to continue their live.
