Friday afternoon 29 June 2007, when I was preparing to walk to the dining room, as usual I moved my hand to put my cell phone in my pocket. Unfortunately I failed to insert it in my pocket properly that it fell down the floor, bounced and rolled on the floor. I immediately took it and examine whether it was still working well. And I found that nothing bad had happened to my cell phone, it still worked well.

Later on that day, in the dusk, when I was in the bath room the cell phone fell down again. It was when I opened my pant, I lost grab to my pant so it fell down the floor with the cell phone inside the pocket. Since the distance was shorter than the precious falling in the afternoon, I was not too worry and continued my activity without checking my cell phone.

Around fifteen minutes later, when I began to watch TV I took a glimpse to my cell phone and found a problem in the LCD screen. The pictures were overlapping, from the previous before pressing the key and after pressing the key. I immediately turned it off, wait for awhile, and turned it on again, and this time it was blank, no picture at all at the LCD screen. I tried again several times, it still unable to display the pictures.

It made me had no other choice than to plan to go on the next day, Saturday 30 June 2007, to the shop where I bought the cell phone, at Mal Ambasador. Because if I wait until the next two days, while I happened to receive an important SMS message on Saturday, it would be a problem since I could not read any SMS message with such LCD condition.

Saturday 30 June 2007, in the morning I went to Mal Ambasador according to the plan. It was then I realized that Mal Ambasador is side by side with the ITC Kuningan.

By the time I reached the ground floor, an idea came to my mind to replace the casing of my cell phone. In the recent three years, I have used the unoriginal casing, in order to keep the original casing lasting.

On the third floor of Mal Ambasador, at Prisma Com where I bought my cell phone, the shop keepers were still busy cleaning the shop. I asked about whether my cell phone could be fixed, and the answer was that the man in charge of servicing cell phone would come in the afternoon around one o'clock. It was still eleven o'clock, and it would be odd for me to wait there until one o'clock, so I decided to go to another shop across the corridor, around two shops on the left.

Two young male shop keepers were serving a customer there. One of them asked me the problem, and I explained him about it. He said it could be the LCD should be replaced, or it could also be just the connector. Before he managed to check my cell phone, a girl wearing veil appeared from behind the shelve, telling him that there was a phone call for him. He disappear to behind the shelve, and the girl with veil took his place. I explain again the problem to her, and she turned it on, and she showed me that the picture did appear. I was surprised to see it, and decided to go home. Before I left I took time to examine the name of the shop, it was "Ponsel Plus", third floor, shop  number 21.

At home, I tried to replace the casing again to the unoriginal, and it still unable to display the picture again, so I replaced it with the original casing. And it worked find.

Tuesday, 3 July 2007, in the afternoon, I found that there was a problem again with the LCD screen. I tried to contact the Prisma Com shop at Mal Ambasador, but nobody answered the phone. It made me remember the authorized service shop of Siemens, since my cell phone is a Siemens, type A 55. I called them to make sure which one of the service shops I should visit.

Wednesday, 4 July 2007, I went to the service shop of Dian Graha Elektrik, the main distributor of Siemens cell phone in Indonesia, at Butik Ponsel in SCBD, close to the Pacific Place that I wrote in my previous letter of "Pacific Place Accidents, Again".  It appeared to be the problem of connector, and they repaired it for several minutes.

Subject:  Misunderstanding of Clapping Hand Toward the Asinan Peddler

The Asinan peddler riding his tricycle cart while knocking the plate with a spoon.

Another important thing happened on Friday, 29 June 2007. In the afternoon around two o'clock, I heard the sound of spoon knocking on the plate form the distance. It was the sound of Asinan peddler, riding a tricycle cart.

Asinan is a food, some kind of salad, with most of the vegetables have been preserved using souring agent. The preserved vegetables are green mustard cabbage, long bean-sprout, carrot sliced in small pieces at the size of tooth picks, and humps of green onion. Mixed with slices of fresh cucumber and some boiled tofu. Add with sauces of peanut and chili and vinegar, then some cracker called kerupuk, fried peanuts, and poured with thick liquid palm sugar.

By the time the peddler passed in front of the house, I clicked my fingers from inside the garage, yet he kept moving on. After some more click of my fingers he still unable to hear, I went out of the garage and clap my hand toward him. Still, he was unable to hear.

This becomes important to explain here, since my clapping hand toward the Asinan peddler could have been misunderstood as if I was a bad temper person reprimanding some construction labors on the left of the house. They have been cutting some ceramic tiles in the park for several days, producing some noisy sound.

On the next day when those construction labors were cutting some ceramic tiles again, there were some strong sound of thunders in the sky several times. It could create a misunderstanding as if I was having some kind of "extraordinary power" to cause such thunders. Or as if God was defending me through those thunders.

If there were the interference of God, it must be because of God's concern to protect the truth, and not about defending myself. Because the truth comes from God, so God has the concern to protect it.

The truth was that my clapping hands on that Friday afternoon was not to reprimand the noisy sound of cutting machine of those working men, instead to call the Asinan peddler. Such truth must be defended, otherwise people would be afraid to work only because of bad temper persons or because of bad guys who like to disturb others. And it is not good for human life, because after all human being need to work for living.
