Yesterday was a big day for Warner Bros
Movie World, because they opened their new rollercoaster, Eraser, a Vekoma SLC.
And the park opened it's gates for the new season.

Eraser, the new rollercoaster for Warner Bros. Movieworld is officially
opened the 6th of April, when the park opens it's doors for the new season.
I will go there to the opening, and will report to you here the next day with
loads of pictures of Eraser and also the other coasters, Wild Wild West (Intamin
Woodie), Tom and Jerry (Mack Wildmouse), Leathel Weapon Pursuit (Intamin
duelling coaster).
The testing on Colossos begins March 22nd. A full report on that coaster with pictures will be online after 6 May.

Walibi Wavre is undergoing a big investment from the Premier Parks group, who
also own SixFlags Inc.
The park's name will change to SixFlags Belgium. The turnover includes a
wooden rollercoaster designed by Vekoma and a Vekoma Boomerang. The layout of

Construction on SLC for Warner Bros. Movie World has finished, now only the theming has to be done, and of course a station has to be built. Pictures of the completed coaster can be found here
The construction of Colossos in Heide Park is going very good as well. It
looks to be a very BIG rollercoaster, which it is, because it is 60 m high, and
it seems there will be quite a lot of airtime on this coaster looking at this
picture.

Warner Bros. Movie World's new rollercoaster is a
Vekoma SLC! This week the first parts have arrived at the park.

Heide Park (Germany) started construction on
their new woodie.
Colossos, is the name. It will be the highest and fastest wooden rollercoaster
in the world.
It will contain tunnels helixes and banked drops. The first drop will come from
a height of 60 meters!
It's designed by Werner Stengel (well known for his Millenium Force design) and
built by Intamin.
There are also rumours that Warner Bros Movie World
will get a Hyper coaster in 2001, it is said there will be a theming around it
from the blockbuster movie The Matrix.
Hopefully we'll here some more news on this topic soon.

SixFlags Holland (the Netherlands) is
almost surely going to get a Hammerhead
Stall (built by Vekoma) in the 2001 season.

There are also rumours that they will get another
rollercoaster and in the near future a hotel!
Parc Astérix is allready
constructing a Mack Bobsled ride that will be called Le Trace Du Hourra
