Hello everyone. The theme of the NOMA conference was reconstruction, NOT deconstruction. People are interested, but where are the voices? Please check out the Contents for more information within our website.

NOMA Student Competition
On the contents page you will see posted two of three ".zip" files. For everybody who didn't have a camera at the conference you can download these files and see the site for each individual competition. There are further instructions on the Contents page.

The 1997 Annual NOMA Conference was in October 9-12. It took place in Miami, Florida. Four of us, from City College attended Pedro, Richard, Arcadio, and myself, Karim.

New York Coalition of Black Architects/ NOMA NY Chapter
There won't be a calendar of events as previously thought. Three people on the board of NOMA/NYCOBA are going to sit on the national NOMA board. As a result it has taken time to find replacements for the local NOMA board. According to Cheryl Green the first activity of the year will take place at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. There will be five volunteering, organizations, which will introduce their particular professions to high school students.

Local NOMA /NYCOBA meetings are open to the general public. Any information regarding the next one will be posted as quickly as possible.
