I guess people like to, in a sense, meet the person who creates a website. The best most can do is put a picture of themselves up. But I got to thinking okay, I can do this, but you really do know me, by seeing what my site is about, you are seeing what I'm about!

The reason I have a rose with this pix is because, to me, friends are like roses. In order to really know them is to see their inner beauty. A rose starts as a bud, and with love and tender care, it opens up and we see the inner beauty. To me that is what being a friend is. Most that know me, know I'm a very sincere person, hense the love and huggz, my illustrious signature trademark. I always sign this way, as I feel life is too short, not to let people know continually what they mean to me. I don't make acquaintances, I make friends. I go by Chrissy, as that's hubby's nickname for me, (I lovingly refer to him as 'Mr. Bill') although most just call me Chris. Since he's the most important person (next to God) in my life, figured it to be as good a name as any on the 'net'. I guess when I got this computer and it ask me for a name, I only thought of my own, as I have to be the real me, here or anywhere else.

What makes me tick is, my grandchildren and then the rest of my family. Yes, I said it, my grandchildren first, lol. I love them and feel priviledged to have these precious gifts. I have 6 altogether, but am continually being mistaken for their Mom, when we are out. I love to correct people though, and go "Hey, I'm Grandma". My daughter loves to tell me I let them get by with more than they were ever allowed when they were young. Maybe, then maybe not, teehee~!

Okay, I guess this background represents my other fierce love. My love of my *Country*. It's my way of saying 'Thanks to all the Veterans' who gave of themselves for me to have the freedom, such as being able to freely express myself even if only on a website. Oh I don't take it unconsciously, as I truly know the lives that were layed down for this very freedom, but I do as we all do, and go about my daily life. But I *do* take time to make sure my young ones knew just what they were given and have instilled this in the grandchildren as well. I come from a family of Veterans! I say *WelcomeHome*!

Other than golf, bowling and camping, I guess now you pretty much know me. My next page tells my feelings of being a Mother. I write alot and even though my poetry isn't professional, it's all from my heart. So I hope you will enjoy your visit. The only other thing I have to add is my thanks to Jane, who so graciously allowed me the use of this set she made for her Tubes site. Jane, I thank-you.
