"I can believe that Dru would think him pretty/interesting/sensitive/whatever enough to sire him, or try to, but back in season 2 of BtVS we saw that she wasn't responsible enough to keep a bird alive, so how could she ever manage to sire and/or train a childe? Spike has referred to Angel as his sire in so many eps that I'm convinced that either Angel was the one who gave William his blood to turn him, or he took on the role of Will's Sire in Dru's stead. Either way, he's *definitely* Spike's sire!"
