Winners...  The Bears Were Fresh
The Bears became the WBIII Champs with solid left-handed pitching from Lombo, and tough righties in JoeyDak and Whitey.  The strenght of the squad had to be it's fielding.  The bats delivered most of the day as well, and even saw cameo batting by Kearnzy. (Right) Joey Dak calls in his bet on the Bears ("crushem, $100 win Bears, that is correct, that is all"), while Lombo wonders what it would be like to be 5'8" instead).

PHA Kings Instilled at 7/2 for WB IV
Paul "Chinny" Keneally was solid in the circle, and also had a hot bat in WB III.  Tank "yeah yeah yeah, I got dat" Sherman was very tough to hit, stunning batters with his big, loping curve ball.  Shultz and Stix Davis added some dingers  for runs as well.  On Right, the honesty of Stix is apparent, and it was that honesty that kept the bats in the hands of the Bears in the Series opener.

Load Too Heavy for Czop
Czopper pitched a gem in the opener, but the A-Holes could never really get it rolling.  Czop batted .767 during the day, but got little help in the field from Lenny and Mike.  Mike didn't slur a word, sent one out, and smoked a mean stoagie.  Lenny was hot and cold on the mound, and displayed some power in a losing effort, and at this time is still pondering horse shoes for WB IV.

Two Sheas Too Many
They arrived first with a ton of beer and a full squad.  Wifflers thought they were a lock.  It never happened as the bats stayed home, the pitching needed relief, and the fielding was either outstanding or just stading.  This team will need some confidence for WB IV, and perhapss a trip or two to the batting cage
(Above left to right) Susan hangs on the short porch in left with Randy's biggest fan, the Lovely Laura.  Howie, Billy, and Susan pose after Two Sheas decide pounding beers rather than balls a better deal.  Johnny Shea smiles as Tank kisses Keneally, and A-Holes Lenny and Ryan grab some chips
Notice how Susan wants nothing to do with A-Holes Lenny (next to her, looking dejected with soda product), Mike wants nothing to do Czop, who is showing why they call him Mr. Saturday.
More Stuff Coming Soon
Keneally produced like Superman at WB III.  Let's hope we don't have to hear about it until WB IV.  Lombo was the top southpaw in the circle, and celebrated the championship by leaving his car windows open in the rain.
