| October 25-27: Dr. Wakefield's tour (October 25-27: San Diego, California (Griffith Park-Los Angeles)) Dr. Andrew Wakefield, a British gastroenterologist, is participating in a multi-city "tour" to discuss his theory that the measles/mumps/rubella (MMR) vaccine causes autism. Although numerous scientific studies have concluded that there is no relationship between MMR and autism, some parents-particularly those who live in cities where Dr. Wakefield is lecturing-may have questions about this topic.
