  • Video Step-pattern Tapes: All the step patterns of the dances that we teach, are recorded on video tape. These dances cost: R39 per dance (1 three-hour tape has space for 20 dances) and R34 for the tape. The dances include 10 to 15 patterns - from basic to advanced. The format of the video recording is; first a demonstration of all the patterns to music from 1 to 10/15 as listed on our chart. Each pattern is then danced slowly to count; first the male's part, then the female's part. What makes our recording so popular and unique is that there is no talking, except for the count, and the learner copies the pattern directly, with the teacher's back towards the learner. The pupil follows the teacher facing the TV - as little neck craning as possible. We've had thousands of happy comebacks, not only from our own pupils, but also those who order our tape through DanceInfo SA.
