Understanding Daniel's Visions
concerning the Endtime (I)

Endtime Mysteries

Having studied the book of Daniel carefully, God showed Daniel the endtime events in detail, however, the mysteries can only be revealed in the last days.

"But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; ..."       Dan 12:4a

The  Lord told Daniel that the mysteries of the vision will be shut up and will only be revealed in the endtime.

Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the end of these things?" And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end."    Dan 12:8-9

The lord refused to reveal the endtime mysteries to Daniel, though he was one of the three men regarded by God as righteous.

"Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness," says the Lord GOD.     Ezek 14:14
 

Thus, if we are really living in the endtime, only then will we be able to understand endtime events. Thus, all past interpretations (possibly more than 40 years old) of endtime events are to be discounted. Thus teachings of `pre-Trib', `post-Millennium', mid-Trib' are heresies.

Jews and Jerusalem

God especially revealed to Daniel the future of the Jews while they were still the people of God and the status of the Holy City Jerusalem (God's presence in the Temple) in Chapters 7-10. Thus, it covered a period of about 500 years from the Babylonian king to the Grecian rule and the short period of seven years after the Rapture. After the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Jews were no longer considered the people of God. The people of God from then on are the Christians. Thus, during this Christian era, the Roman and Muslim rule in Israel (renamed as Palestine) and Jerusalem are not recorded in these chapters except for the short period of coming of the Antichrist just prior to Rapture. The whole Chapter 11 deals with the Antichrist and his appearance. God then reveals the mysteries and his deception. It also tell us when, where and who he will be. In the last verse he (king of the north) will enter Israel and conquer Jerusalem and there build the temple of God - tabernacle for himself. Chapter 12 deals with events after the Rapture. It highlights the persecution of Christians (including the many Jews who will become Christian) during the period of the Wrath of Satan and also the rewards of the martyrs and the overcomers.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved,     Rom 11:25-26a

However, after Rapture (the period of Grace or the Holy Spirit is over) all those left behind are Jews, deceived and nominal Christians and unbelievers. The Jews will then once again become the people of God. This will be a short period of 7 years.

Daniel Chapter 7-8

Chapters 7 & 8 of the book of Daniel describe in detail the prophecy concerning the land of Israel, Jerusalem and the surrounding countries prior to the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus. This was during the period when the Jews were the people of God (i.e. prior to the death of our lord Jesus Christ). The Jews will once again become the people of God (after rapture, i.e. during the last seven years of the Jews) after the receive their salvation through Christ Jesus. Thus, the events during the period of Grace (except for the Antichrist in Dan 7:23-24b and Dan 8:23-25) is not included in these two chapters. There are many books and commentaries which show the accurate historic accounts as prophesied.

The 4th. Beast (Antichrist)

"Thus he said: 'The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, trample it and break it in pieces."     Dan 7:23

The fourth beast (the Antichrist) will conquer the whole world and destroy it. This will be just prior to the Rapture. 

"As for the broken horn and the four that stood up in its place, four kingdoms shall arise out of that nation, but not with its power. And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, a king shall arise, having fierce features, who understands sinister schemes."     Dan 8:22-23

After the death of Alexander the Great in his capital Babylon (Central Iraq), his kingdom was broken up into four kingdoms (each general took over the region under his control). General Selecus inherited his capital Babylon and the surrounding region including Iraq, Iran and part of Syria. The Antichrist, who will be a wicked schemer and deceiver, will arise from there to reunite the whole middle East. (In Daniel Chapter 11, the Antichrist will come from Iraq)

"His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; he shall destroy fearfully, and shall prosper and thrive; he shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people."     Dan 8:24

The Antichrist will be empowered by the devil ( 2Thess 2:9) and he will destroy all oppositions. He will be extremely successful in his conquest. He will bring down all the mighty nations (USA, EU, Russia, China, India, etc.). He will deceive and overcome many Christians.

"Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without human means."     Dan 8:25

He will use lies and wicked scheme to mislead, and he will deceive many and destroy their faith (2Thess 2:10). He will even proclaim himself God (2Thess 2:3-4) but he will be killed miraculously by the brightness of the coming of the Lord at Rapture (2Thess 2:8). Immediately after Rapture, Satan will be cast down to earth (Rev 12:7-12) and he will used the dead body of the antichrist for his own incarnation.

The Beast (Devil's incarnate)

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.....And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.    Rev 13:1,3

The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; he shall be different from the first ones, and shall subdue three kings.     Dan 7:24

The antichrist will also have 9 other agents (kings) working for the Devil. At Rapture he will be killed and then the devil will use the dead body of the Antichrist for his incarnation. Thus, the Beast is the devil incarnate. The other 9 agents will hand over their powers and authorities to the Beast.

"The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast."    Rev 17:12-13

The Beast will then proclaim himself God and blaspheme God and His name. He will persecute all Christians and force them to worship him for 3 1/2 years or 42 months. He will demand them to obey his new laws and commandments. He will require all mankind to come before him and worship him during the festivals set by him. This is the period of the wrath of Satan. Christians (all those left behind) who witnessed the Rapture will have their faith strengthened and will believe every word of in the Holy Bible. They will opposed the Beast and reject the `666' mark. They will be persecuted, tortured and will suffer tremendously during this period of the wrath of Satan.

{ Please obey God and His Word. Be His disciple by carrying your cross daily so that you will not be left behind at Rapture. }

He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time.     Dan 7:25

So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.     Rev 13:4-7

All those who worship the Antichrist or receive his mark or `666' will face the coming wrath of God for the next 3 1/2 years ( 7 trumpets in Rev 6 and 7 and the 7 bowls in Rev 16).

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."    Rev 16:1

All those who worship him or receive his mark or `666' will then be destined for eternal damnation

"And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."     Rev 14:11

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.     Rev 13:8
