| Spinners comprise both the in-line variety
like the classic Mepps or Rooster Tail as well as spinnerbaits.
One nice feature of the spinners is that you can vary the depth of the
lure by varying retrieve speed. This feature is particular useful
if the fish are hunkered down in the weeds and unwilling to pursue a
bait passing far overhead. If your rod is sensitive enough you
can easily work these lures through the base of weedbeds. Many
times the fish will strike in reaction to the lure bouncing off a
