Entered 4.29.02 Hmmm . . . Well, I have a good little handful of bloody boyfriend alerts. 1. TV ALERT: Andrew will be on “Politically Incorrect” tonight! I am so eager to see him in conversation. He is so insane. I just hope he manages to get the best of Bill Maher rather than vice versa. If he comes off like a dumbass, I’m gonna be so depressed. 2. Andrew is one of the 25 hottest stars under 25 in the latest ish of Teen People. Thank you for this alert, Emily! 3.
There is yet another TV commercial out there now using Andrew’s
“It’s Time to Party.” It’s a Coors commercial. I love that my
insane, vulnerable bloody boyfriend is raking in the cash. As
far as site updates . . . sorry, I actually had to go to sleep and stuff.
So, I wasn’t able to make as many additional updates as I hoped. I did
add a new item in
Fantasy
Pics
and reformatted the
Distractions
navigation again. (I hated that list thing I had going on the right side
of the page.) Happy Monday night!
Another
bit of info that I am sure is already old news for most of you . . .
Noelle, the premier OhnoZone.net denizen, actually met Apolo last week.
Not only did she meet up with him once, but TWICE. TWICE! Her story sent
me into a coma for, like, two days. The girl sat next to him! Had a chat
with him! Stood there for at least a whole minute Before
you do that, though, check out our new
Music
page navigation and one of the first of many new music scenarios we are
posting up this weekend. Thanks for all your emails wanting more, as well
as for your patience as we work on trying to create the best quality stuff
we can put together. (I know we said we were going to get this all done
last weekend, but, uh . . . heh, er, buh.) I also recently updated our
Feedback
page and
Staff
Box. More
music scenarios, fanfics, pictures, and maybe a voyeur entry or two are on
their way. Tune back in later tonight or tomorrow morning. Happy Sunday!

Still working on new content, please stay tuned. :)
Man,
I am totally having one of those days — one of those days when my focus
is so bad I can’t walk without tripping, can’t close a door without
slamming my fingers, can’t go from point A to point B without forgetting
why the hell I was so desperately needing to get to point B in the first
place. This is the kind of day when you should just lock the doors and
windows and sit very still until the sun goes down. This might be
explainable had I just smoked a fat splif, but no, not me. So,
what’s the deal? I dunno. Everything? Nothing? Maybe I’m all agog with
these vague Apolo sightings I keep reading about. “He’s in L.A.”
“He’s at a frat party.” “He’s running down the street.”
“He’s at the mall food court.” “He’s rescuing a kitty from a
tree.” This information helps me not at all. However,
the other night (early morning) while Racci and I were having one of our
all-night staff meetings, The
Big Kahuna came online with his report and pictures from “The
Scorpion King” premiere, which Apolo attended. I was so giddy and
delighted to get this first-hand account of what it was like to meet Apolo
from someone I really don’t actually know. It was almost, but not really
at all like meeting Apolo myself. *sigh* Thanks again for sharing, Kahuna. The
next Apolo-ish event is apparently the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards
show? Speaking
of sucking, I just want to Apologize to our site regulars. We have
been pretty lax with our content updates lately, and it hasn’t gone
unnoticed. We have been getting your emails, and we are very grateful you
still love the “sauce” and are looking forward to more. Hopefully,
you’ll all be happy to know we scheduled the next few days as a working
weekend for the Dark Blades staff. So, just keep checking in. Of course,
if you want to get our occasional site update emails, just send us a note
at darkbladeweaver@yahoo.com.
Entered 4.17.02 Made a few early morning site updates including three new fantasy pics, plus a new distraction and some updated navigation on the Distractions page.
TV ALERT: Be sure you watch or tape "Saturday Night Live" tonight! My bloody boyfriend, Andrew W.K. will be the musical guest! Last night I saw the sauciest SAUCY GIRL movie I've ever seen (at least the sauciest I've seen in a while). The Sweetest Thing, that new Cameron Diaz movie, is totally hysterical. It is so total girl raunch. I loved it. Of course it isn't the greatest movie ever made and it has a sap ending, but, hey. I can forgive the flaws as it had my abs hurting with laughter for the first 2/3 of it.
Entered 4.11.02 Sorry.
I didn't come back to report any site updates last night. Reason being I haven’t
made any site updates, no major ones anyway. Just fixed some typos and a
bad link. Note
today on your calendar. It is a new chapter in my life. Today I gleaned
some wisdom from a Sum 41 song — “It’s closer than it is too
far.” That’s not the name of the song, but that is the verse that hit
me. I totally believe that. The world isn’t as big as you believe. It
can be conquered. Note to the criminally insane: Do not read between the lines. That last paragraph is not an “all clear” for your plot to kidnap Apolo and steal him away to your remote love nest. NEVER EVER do that! I am so totally serious.
You’ll
never believe it, but the biggest request we get at Dark Blades is for a
view of Apolo’s naked package, the full monty, a peek at the old meat
‘n’ veg, a little “how’s your father.” Well, we are still
debating in the office if this is the direction we want to take. My
personal feeling is that there are actually some things best left to the
imagination. Besides, our staff’s chorus regarding Apolo’s pulsing
meat sword is that it is “massive, thick, and flawless.” We are
talking perfection, and I have yet to find that picture. I probably never
will. However,
to quench the masses’ need for “dick pics,” I have created a
discrete hotlink I think you will like. Go to Racci’s distraction for Peter
Steele. Find the word Playgirl in the article and click it. You
will be directed to a page that provides you with . . . uh, I mean, BUH! I
mean if we had to pick a perfect dick, this would be it. Just be sure you
are already sitting on the ground before you go there, otherwise you’ll
fall out of your seat. A
housekeeping note:
One of our Dark Blades interns is currently trying
to catalog our video archives. She tells me our library is not complete.
We are missing the video of Apolo’s first race, the one where he fell, plus
all the Olympic coverage of him previous to that including some little
segment they did on him before he started racing, as well as the opening
ceremonies. If anyone can help us out with that, please give me a shout at
darkbladeweaver@yahoo.com.
Thanks.
Well, we have certainly been getting the site traffic lately. I think I have to credit Todd and the peeps at Ohno Zone. He gave us an endorsement Friday and our site hasn't stopped buzzing since. Here's Todd's site message from Friday.
Thanks, again Todd! That was very cool of you. As far as site updates, we have a new FanFics main page now which provides a list of links to various Dark Blades fanfics. Updated the Feedback page with some nice kudos. About to post up another Fantasy Pic; and I think EVERYONE should like this one. My only risk will be Charles Schulz turning in his grave. Man, it is totally raining here. The forecast is for a completely gray and wet weekend. That's actually okay with me. I'm partial to the rain. There is something about it that fills me with romantic angst . . . which is interesting since Apolo says nearly the same thing in this Q&A article I found while visiting Ohno Zone. It actually has some new and different information. Well, just some, anyway. With that in mind, Apolo should be pleased to see some of the rain inspired fiction we've had in the works and are about to post on the site. (If he was pleased about anything that has to do with Dark Blades, I'd pass out.) Recently, I have been getting frustrated with seeing Dark Blades pics all over the place without proper attribution; that and the fact people seem to love us and use our stuff then post that they hate us. Okay, it's probably not all the same people, maybe I'm just cranky today. From the start I knew this site wasn't for everyone, but I'm not going to pretend it doesn't hurt when people say they hate us. I mean, ya' know, seriously. So, anyway, sharing my grief and crank-i-tude, here is a link to a post I made on the fly earlier today on Apolofans.com. Yeah, well, they took the mature discussion board off Apoloforums. What can you do? Nothing. However, if you aren't already aware, a mature discussion group has started back up in another area. Here is the link: http://pub2.ezboard.com/bohnodownlochicas Be prepared for a somewhat tedious sign-up process. Otherwise, it's a place to collect and gab. No, the good old days of the SAUCY GIRLZ are gone, but, hey, to quote Annie, "the sun will come out tomorrow." Oh, crap. No it won't. It's supposed to rain all weekend.
Entered 4.01.02 Just
uploaded some new additions to the
Distractions
page. Added a new
contributor to the
Staff
Box. So,
are you going into Apolo withdrawal? Yeah, yeah. Me too, sorta. *pouting*
I'm so bummed, I'm not even in the mood to trick you with an April Fool's
prank. Oh, well. I kinda hope we are helping to fill a bit of a void out
there with our variety of content here on Dark Blades.
