Evelia herself grew interested in having children, though she had not yet found a permanent mate. She decided to attend the Wyld Whirl on Mythicalae, and after being caught by a fellow Darkling Dawn resident, Arajaxth, had a clutch there, many of whom eventually found their way back to Darkling Dawn.
She and Zein returned to their Watchpair duties, and life went on as usual. Several of Evelia's children had had clutches of their own, making her a grandmother (probably several times-great-grandmother by now!) but she still didn't have a life mate.
Then a curious and utterly charming Danachian who went by the name Radtantaisayuth came to Darkling Dawn...
