He soon realized that nobody was going to let him leave, though, until he had bonded, or at least, decided to go with one of the sponsors lining up around the batch of unbonded dragons.
Slightly miffed out by this, he dutifully joined the other dragons to be sponsored; a pale blue, pale shimmer rainbow, as well as a black and red from another clutch. Only now did the newborn hatchling look down at himself, inspecting his coppery hide and splaying his firey wings to get a good look at him. One of the other dragons shot him a glare as he was buffeted by a wing, but the hatchling paid his clutchmate no mind.
Finally, he started paying attention to the sponsors; a young human rider, caught his attention. He was standing with two companions, a yellow Pernese dragon and a dark brown winged wolf.
The hatchling had a brief, private conversation with the yellow dragon, who called himself Myuyrth, and the dragon shared with him pictures of his home, Darkling Dawn. The hatchling found himself very interested in this place, and he turned to the dragon's rider, who he now knew was called C'nwyn.
"Myuyrth told me all about Darkling Dawn. I would like to see more." He smiled charmingly up at C'nwyn.
"You'll like it there." The rider said, and he shared a silent look with his dragon for a moment before regarding the hatchling again. "So what's your name?"
"I'm Radellatarth." He said, gaping his jaw in a smile.
