Appearance: Lithe and muscular, but somewhat short in height, Yanos is generally compact and strong. He has toned, fair skin speckled with freckles, as well as deep, chocolate brown eyes. His hair is long, hanging to about his shoulderblades and often pony-tailed. It is a bright red in color.
Personality: Quite modest and rather shy, Yanos prefers to keep to himself and tends to get nervous around strangers. He has a hard time trusting people and finds it hard to make friends, given his loner nature. He is rather self-effacing and doesn't like to stand out; he tends to downplay his own achievements. He is a little cynical and jaded as well.
Past: Yanos was born in a tiny mining hold to parents who worked in the nearby mine. He grew up around few other children, and his younger brother and sister are both quite a few years younger than him; he didn't play with them much growing up. Once he was old enough, he decided to get away from his hold and became an apprentice harper. He became a journeyman when he was eighteen, a few months before he was searched. As a candidate, he won a queen fire lizard egg in a game off an older rider, which hatched into a female flitter which he named Awrr, after the sound she made when she Impressed him.

Personality: Czaarth is a quiet and thoughtful dragon, who, like his bond, is not particularly outgoing and prefers to stick around Yanos, just the two of them. He tends to get a bit jealous of his rider and often is aggressive towards humans who distracts Yanos from him. When his rider is not involved, he is a fairly good-tempered, easy-going dragon.
