The first egg to hatch yeilded a lovely, dark blue dragon. It was a female. Gavin didn't know much about the dragon colors, but he knew that that was definitely not normal.
He watched as the next egg broke, revealing a white dragon, Ttettoritth. Several more eggs hatched and Impressed, then another dark blue dragon, this one a male, broke free. He looked over the male candidates, nodded sharply to himself, and then said, Gavin! You are now G'vin! And you are mine!
Gavin looked down at the dark blue, surprised. "Of course, Aavaanaath."
They left the Hatching Sands together.
