RECIPE FOR REALLY GOOD BEER BISCUITS
This recipe is presented using the Imperial / Avoirdupois system of measurement, in order to confuse maleficent foreign spies, should it fall into the wrong hands. You will need:
4 cups Bisquick™ baking mix (should be available from any good Tesco or Co-Op)
1 12-ounce bottle/can of beer, warm and flat
2-3 tablespoons sugar (depending on your personal taste)
a calculator and a conversion table, if you’re used to metric.
Preheat the oven to 350° Farenheit. Mix the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Cover a baking sheet with foil. Scoop out large spoonfuls of the batter, and dollop them onto the baking sheet, roughly one to two inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown, depending on your oven. Delicious! Oh, and trust me, this is one of the rare instances when Guinness is not the best choice. Use lager instead. This is also one of the even rarer instances when American beer is actually a good choice.
