My 1970 510 "Bambi":
I've owned Bambi since the summer of 1997.  She's a 1970 two door.  When I bought it, it had and L20B (which it still has) and dual SU's, and a 280z 5-speed.  That's the exciting stuff, anyway...  Since them I've changed things around quite a bit.  Here's everything I can think of:
-L20 B
-Webber 32/36 Downdraft
-Headers
-2.25 inch exhaust with a turbo-type muffler (sounds really nice ... by that I mean loud!)
-280z 5-spd
-Springs have been cut somewhat, but are stock.
-280zx master cylinder on a 210 power booster
-Bubble flares
-Fiberglass hood
-Shaved door handles and lock on passenger side
-Aftermarket rear spoiler
-280zx 6-spoke wheels (used to have 13" black/chrome wheels)
-Factory tach
-Oil pressure gauge, volt meter, and water temperature gauge
-280zx Steering wheel with a home-made 510 emblem in the middle
-5 panel Wink mirror
-Electronic Ignition Distributor

Well, that's about it for now.  I know it's not anything amazing, but its made the trip between Oregon and Arizona three times with no problems, so I'm happy :)
Running on Super, I usually get about 22 mpg city, 25 or so on freeway.  I don't really have any performance specs, but its really not too much to brag about.  Some days it feels quicker than others, I think 0-60 is about 8-9seconds.
Future plans include new springs for the back,  810 struts (or something else, not sure yet) in the front,  new cam (maybe Kelvin's DAMB cam), 280z intake valves, ported head, new sway bars front and back, and I am working on designing my own
supercharger.  I have since decided that that probably won't work, so I bought a pair of Weber 40 DCOE's.
Bambi was primer black when I got her.  Also note the rear bondo-flares.
This is basically what my engine compartment looks like.  This was before my accident, so the hood is still the stock one, now it is fiberglass.
SORRY, THIS PICTURE GOT DELETED...IT MAY RETURN SOON
On the left is Bambi after my accident with new front fenders, fiberglass hood, and Euro- turn lenses.  In the middle is Bambi after I sanded her down, and re-primered her gray.  On the right, we have Bambi after spraying her turquoise.  (Painting story)
