Physical Description: 5'1", 170, a bit paunchy and slightly out of shape, fair skin that burns, light brown hair that is slightly curly and always badly cut. Brown eyes that are small but quite aware of all they can see. Not unattractive, but pretty plain. Usually dressed in something that can be cleaned easily, as he is often the one left to pick up the pieces of those Kalkin is made to take apart. Rarely seen outside the healers' area of the Hold. Voice is very flexible, and he does a marvelous immitation or impression of those he knows or has heard.

Emotional/Mental Description: calm, steady and commanding in his own way. He is often quiet, but when it comes down to his word as a healer against someone else's as a patient, he wins. He is intense about his work, and understands the importance of it all in a sense, but doesn't much care for the fact that its him and his wife putting the pieces back together. Not that he would like to do the cutting... He is humorous, and usually finds a way to put a joke into the most serious situations, though sometimes this is lost on those present.

Skills: all those associated with a surgical specialist on Pern. Knows a lot about herbalry as well, and has dealt with Thread injuries quite a lot. He has a remarkable bedside manner, and is looking forward to the time when his own children will come under his care. He is the consummate healer.

History: well into his training when summoned to Alabaster, he became a Master at his work upon the first few tries sewing up Kalkin's victims -- er, subjects. He and Misha met while still in training, and have never wanted anyone other than each other it seems. They may not be able to have children, but then again, Misha has her ways...

Notes and Special Information: is devoted to the Hold particularly because it is slowly becoming more of a Weyr. He is proud of his participation in it, and likes the fact that he can proudly say that he helps the threadscored riders.

Pets/Hobbies/Posessions: has no pets, his wife seems to be his hobby, and his posessions are all related to the medical field. He knows that Kalkin will help him create better tools once the Aivas situation is resolved.
