Inquire about Lamaze classes and Lamaze-friendly obstetricians in your community. Inform your doctor that you are interested in joining a Lamaze class.

If you are a woman on your fifth month to eight month of pregnancy, you are welcome to the class.

Whether you're a primapara (first-timer) or multipara (with previous multiple births), scheduled Cesarean, asthmatic, diabetic or with heart ailment, you can still join. Inform your obstetrician that you're interested.

You may opt to have a coach other than your husband, who can be a relative or friend. If you don't have a coach, you can join the class as a
single participant.

For classes, bring a notebook, floor mat (banig), drinking water and a bendable drinking straw. Comfortable clothes are necessary for stretching exercises which will develop muscles needed for birth.
