| November 8,2004 I've been doing the growth hormone therapy for about two weeks now, but neither myself or my mom is quite used to it yet. It's a shot I take everynight, so sometimes I get little bit scared. I try to get out of it by running around in circles and screaming, but that doesn't work. I hope it either gets better or I can find a way out of this mess my mom caused by taking me to the doctor all the time. Anyways, wish me luck. November 10, 2004 Today I got a flu shot. Everybody was so amazed that I didn't shed a tear. I was too mad to cry. I made a little boy cry today by telling him plain as day, "Gonna get a shot." Mommy was a little embarrassed with me. The little boy's mother looked at mommy and gave her a dirty look after the little boy cried. I did good with my Physical Therapy today after my therapist bribed me with a sucker. People will learn if you want something from me, you gotta pay. Sure, it may sound selfish, but I look at it as business proposition. November 17, 2004 Well this past Saturday my mommy rushed me to the ER. She noticed I was breathing funny and took me in. She tried to give me some Tylenol because she said I felt hot, but I wouldn't wake up to take it. By the time we got to the ER, my temperature was 103.9. I was one hot baby! The doctor on call gave me a shot and some prescriptions to get filled. I've been taking all my medicine and am almost back to normal, except for my runny nose and croupy cough. Before you know it I'll be all better. December 9, 2004 Well lately I've been trying to get into my Christmas presents with my safety sissors. I know one of them is something Dora, but I'm not sure what. I hid the car keys today and mommy went crazy tearing the house up until she finally found them. When she asked me if I knew where they were, I would tell her yep. Then she would ask me where they were, but I wouldn't tell her. I'm such a booger sometimes. December 19, 2004 I've been a little under the weather lately. Went to the doctor yesterday and had ear infection. I guess that's not surprising since I've been coughing like crazy. I'm just glad it's not Bronchitis again. Hopefully I'll be over it in no time. The fourth of January we go back to the endocrine clinic, so we'll see how effectively growth hormone therapy is helping me thus far. February 14,2005 Well since the last time I posted I had to go to the hospital and stay a few days. Turns out I had a pretty good casd of pneumonia. We had went to ER's and doctor's offices before I was admitted and given oral antibiotics and Rocephin shots, but still wasn't enough to keep me out of the hospital. I'm perking up now though, back to my normal self. Sometimes of a night I get to coughing a little bit, but nowhere near like I was. I'll be three years old in a couple of weeks. Man! How time flies! My mommy asked me what I wanted for my birthday, but the only thing I could think of to tell her was birthday cake. I've still been doing pretty good with my growth hormone shots and hopefully they're helping me grow like I'm supposed to be. |
